But JoJo has been singing since she was six and she took time off and came back with a even stronger voice, she knows the elements and how far her voice range can go just like any other singer. So if she can't sing this live, or its too high for her. Why did she pick this song? Singers picked the songs they feel comfortable with, so she pick this song and it must be comfortable with it. :)

@daiell09 Actually, as a singer, even if I'm not the best, I can tell that it is not out of her range. She's belting, which is completely normal. It is within her range. Jojo has a very large range, and she knows how to sing. If this was unhealthy for her to sing, she would have blown out her vocal chords years ago, but she knows what she's doing and all she is doing here is belting. I think it's a powerful song.
