The meds can help your daughter to concentrate better, BUT! this comes at a price, like the side effects are weight loss, no appetite, difficulty in sleeping and paranoia. Think long and hard before you decide. :D Best of luck!

We put her on Concerta about a month ago and she is doing so much better than she was. There have luckily been no nasty side effects. She eats just as much if not more sometimes and no paronia and no sleeplessness. Thankfully...Thanks for your comment though.

I like it a lot better, because it is only once daily, and in the begining i forgot to take it occationally, but keep it in a few locations that you generally go in the morning (mine are on the bathroom counter where i've got my toothpaste and stuff, in the kitchen cabnet with the glasses) And I have a post it note on my mirror as a reminder. If I forget to take it, I am very symptomatic and have difficulty concentrating and all the typical stuff, and driving becomes dangerous. but yeah...
