Good point, Borsaid. I probably should have done the example with something other than the Contact entity. In the slide deck I referred to the Opportunity and Case entities, and in the real world it's probably more useful with those, since they don't have anything like that built in.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but doesn't the contact entity already have a sub-contact relationship with itself out-of-box?
