I think you have misunderstood Ben. He does not say that there is no ruling elite of course there is but he says if we only go to that depth we have missed the true creator of our hell on earth, US. There are so many levels of the truth that Ben is pointing towards make new choices in the physical world and at the same time make new choices to become aware of how you live disconnnected within your own psyche the lack of integrety and love for self, look deep.

I will have to disagree with ben on this one, he states perhaps there is no group of ellite controlling us, and that they rule us with out consent, if that were true then all these shaman cultures would not have been destroyed worldwide. We are living in someone else's reality, not our own, if we were then we would not be suffering. we have been ruled for thousands of years now, it is time to wake up.

@maximusTLP "all these shaman cultures" Do you actually know anyone from these cultures? they might have been heavily affected and distorted by the current paradigm of values, their communities are indeed hampered because the young dont want to learn the ancient traditions,but they are not destroyed. There are still plenty of shamans around, and there is actually growing interest in them from the western world to counter the disinterest of young natives.

@conceitarturo lol, the only thing that i have seen from these "shaman elders" are people who are trying to make a quick dollar to sell you their "wisdom". If there are any real shamans with real knowledge and not contaminated by the pursuit of money, I have yet to find one.

@maximusTLP well, mostly you're right, there's a lot of fakes but since their tribes have been destroyed they too have to live under capitalist rules and make money to survive. There are a few who dont do it for money but they're not gonna go to you; you'd have to make the right connections and go and look for them. watch?v=0T5jHEmGJa8 that gives you a pretty good perspective on what happened to them, no bad guy just well meaning ignorance.

@maximusTLP no problem, I'm glad I was of help =). it's great that we're finally seeing indigenous tribes in a more positive light, but we still have to keep our skepticism in place if we dont want to err in having too much positivism, and end up making them out too godlike, and miss that they're humans just like us, as they've always been.
