I used to live right up the street from where you were all fishing. Good fish in the Mersey, eh? I remember the man from the fish and chip shop going out fishing in a rowboat. We bought cooked shrimp from him.

Its a shame that ship building has declined, But it really has had a great effect on rivers like the Tyne and the Mersey.
