  • Hi I want to encapsulate my placenta can you make a tutorial vedio of it thank you..:)

  • @proudmom049 Yes! Will do. :)

  • for women who didn't save theirs or couldn't get it encapsulated, ron teeguarden's dragon herbs sells a fantastic deer placenta product, which works as a great second-best option. there's a testimonial for it on iherb, where the lady relates how it saved her from post-partum depression.

  • @JackHighlander Wow interesting thx!

  • Right on!

  • thank you very much for sharing your story. im due in about 5 weeks, im planning to do it for sure ~ makes absolute sense. i wish people would open their minds more about this subject.

  • @moontrinkett Wonderful!! Thank you. Best wishes to you. I fully stand behind it! Blessings to you and your birth!

  • I think that awesome. God has a plan doesn't he. And your baby is GORGEOUS!

    God Bless

  • @ChrisHCollier Oh thank you! Yes indeed :) Hey are we related? Haha, one side of my family's name is Collier :)

  • I think it is a very cool idea and I love this video it is very informative. However someone else would have to do the cleaning and everything for me. I don't think I could do it. lol

  • @TheHollilynn92 Haha! Yes the clean was ROUGH!! LoL! Thank you. :)

  • Many species among the placentalia/mammalians do that, so ...

  • @steintanz Yes! :)

  • You're very brave for sharing your story although it's something to think about. And I respect that you don't eat meat! Best wishes to you and your daughter! =}

  • @HONEYLOVEBLISS Thank you so much! Blessings.

  • I had terrible depression with my son, and I am absolutely encapsulating my placenta with this pregnancy. Anything that will save me from going through that again. Thanks for the video

  • @ImminentlyWise Great! Good luck to you on that! I really hope it helps :) Blessings.

  • I'm not down with the placenta thing, but your little baby's head is so sweet!

  • @elisam34 And that is totally okay. To each their own :) And thank you very much. :)

  • Good vlog. Very logical and that's great it's working so well for you. Another thing that has a lot to do with risk of post-partum depression is lack of support. It's not natural for a woman to give birth in a hospital and then go home with her baby all by herself (plus partner) and have to figure it all out form scratch and have no support, but this happens a lot.

  • @thetruthergirls Thank you very much. I totally agree. Support for women in post-partum and with the challenges of successful breast feeding is essential indeed. I even at seven months nursing still find challenges and frustration with it at times even though I love breast feeding. If I didn't have the fully proactive support from my partner it'd be unbelievably difficult. It has been just he and I out here with baby so I understand the figuring it out on our own thing.

  • Thanks for this video! im wanting to have a baby in the next year or 2 (i have a lot of weight to loose first) so i enjoy researching things like this and i have found a doula in my area who does this too, i am going to definitely try it!

  • @PinkPrincessKate11 You are welcome! Successful breast feeding combined with this will surely make PPD almost non existent I really think and feel this to be true. Best wishes to you.

  • YES! i love this video!! i was looking forward to a placenta smoothie, my mid wife knew a great recipe hahaha but yeah that didnt happen, and i had horrible ppd. you're a smart mommy!

  • @MadreRaven Wooo... Idk if I could handle a smoothie... lol, but I'm sorry you suffered ppd. :(

  • I wanted to bury my placenta under a tree as an offering of thanks for Kate but an emergency c-section put paid to that. I did have PND I adore my family but felt like such a burden. So much so that I wanted to die. each time I looked at Kate I would get ready to say goodbye but as soon as I said I love you, the suicidal ideation subsided. After therapy and learnong about mindfulness, I am no longer depressed. Now to work on my anxiety. Your bubba is gorgeous and you are a fantastic mom.

  • @mumsthewitch Oh my that is very intense!! How awful for you to have had gone through this. PPD is powerful beyond our understanding. More and more serious research on Placenta ingestion and successful breast feeding for the stability and health of mother as well as baby are showing up. It all point to them being both very vital. Unless it's the mainstream medical institutes of course. They want their money from Meds still to support this stuff. I'm glad you made it through.

  • I truly believe that your vid on this has opened my eyes to this. Thank you for bringing this subject to light.... You are awesome, and I swear, your vids are so insightful.... I love your vids. Thank you for being you and bringing up the issues that you do....

  • @Cowboylikeme Wonderful! Thank you for being open. Thank you also for your kind words.

  • I am on the fence on this one.... Im not saying its wrong... Im not saying its right.... I believe that its a personal opinion..... I am a man also therefore, my opinion doesnt matter.... If it works, do it... It it dont, then dont.... Its like abortion, (im sorry to compare the two) but in my mind, its true.. Oh well. I respect your opinion... Thank you for this video, you have made me a believer instead of a critic...... Just like breast feeding is better for your child... :) love joplin!

  • @Cowboylikeme Don't minimize your role as a man in regards to children. The male role is vital when it is understood and supported. :) Thank you though.

  • I have never heard of placenta pills before, I have heard of people using them and donating them.

I never got the baby blues or postpardum depression nor lost any of my hair (it has always been very thick)...

Maybe this is a new thing that is going to start happening now. If this is working for you then that is wonderful and I am glad you are having a great experience with it!!!

  • @tmmae100 Congrats to you on that.. Did you breast feed?

  • @karaseen I did with my first child but didn't with my others.
