@Allthesefkinsnakes at the time I was washing it weekly! That stuff builds up quick! Now I'm using better injector nozzles and it doesn't smoke so badly.
@kennyp521 I understand where you're coming from, but respectfully disagree. Kazoos have a definite buzzing sound. I would relate this to the sound of popping an inflated beach ball.
With that said, I also hated it at first, but once I got used to it I loved it. Mostly because no other turbos sound like that so it definitely turns heads when I shift.
@codyselcamino .216 nozzles are overkill if you aren't using a bigger turbo. You'll find once you get bigger than .205 with a stock turbo (chipped or not) you'll be getting lots more smoke without much more power.
@quipstad alright thanks, i have plans for a bigger turbo and maybe a black box if i can find one, but it prolly wont be for awhile, ill go with the .205s

whats causing the smoke? I got a tdi beetle and it smokes at start up and keeps smokin for a while... i think my injectors are bad

What kind of gains did you see with the new nozzles? Is it a substantial difference?

Definitely a substantial difference. I don't have dyno results, but the nozzles probably gave me at least an extra 20HP.

Thanks! Diesel sound doesn't change much when you do things to the exhaust. That Beetle has no muffler whatsoever.
