The HEI distrib. you have will probably give you some problems cause i put one in my 69 bird and i had to beat in the firewall, theres alittle room but I justhope the engine won't torque so much were the distrib. hits the firewall. hope theres not problems with it.

Good deal on that ranger, I've had a 86 ranger and a 88 b2 and those are tough little trucks even if it is a ford lol, most 2.9's have ticks to them nothin that will hurt them, and the 2.9 is a strong engine. Have any questions about that ranger just let me know, I could probly answer them
