Can somebody explain to this non sikh what the guru granth sahib is? is it your holy book? if so are there translations in english? and where can you learn the gurus teaching? I respect the Sikhs a lot, and I have only ever known 2 Sikhs in my life but I have learnt a lot just from been friends with 1 sikh. Im christian but for some reason I relate more at the moment to what my sikh mate says about his religion, that God is one and I believe this.

@gojetafu I'm going to disagree with you. Taking Amrit and becoming part of the Khalsa is something every Sikh should aspire to do. A sensible person would live the life of an Amritdhari before taking the Amrit to see if they can live the life, if they can commit themselves to the Sikh way of living. So if 2 people are believing and living the life of an Amritdhari, doing the exactly what a Sikh should be doing, but one of them hasn't taking Amrit, does that make them a non Sikh?

this is the greatest simran that I have ever heard. I closed my eyes and went inot deep meditation, and as i did my simran along with this video i envisioned the guru standing in front of me and my body shivered frantically. when i opened my eyes tears fell down my cheeks.
