@hawk3189 idk what the issue is. But maybe re-download the roms. or you could try running the roms again and be sure to click the run button up at the top of the emulator :).

I dont trust this, really wouldnt recommend it.. you can't open the in-game start menu, just downloaded it for my little cousin. Definitely a stay away scenario.

@MJ85D in desmume hit the Config button then click on edit controls. A window should pop up showing you all the controls. If you don't like the preset controls then you can change them from that menu as well.

@MastaEddo you can change the Frame Skip to 1, 2, or 3. It will run faster then. but I don't like that very much. Mine runs at 30 FPS most of the time. But once you get a bike or some running shoes its a little bit easier to play.

@paintballtechreview my desmume has done that a few times as well. If your trying to open one of the rom files and it keeps freezing what I do is I exit out of desmume open it up and try it again. But if that doesnt work then I would suggest trying to uninstall/delete desmume and reinstall desmume from a fresh download. If you have already opened the rom and it freezes when your trying to click file, the solution I have found is to make sure you pause the emulation before you start clicking stuf

@cboyle978 my game saves fine if you use the in game pokemon menu. but otherwise you can click file, save state to, then save it to wherever you want (ex. desktop), when you want to play again after you have loaded pokemon but havent clicked run yet, click load save state from, then find where you saved your pokemon save file, double click, and then hit run on desmume, and desmume should then load your save file.
