In 1922, the League of Nations granted Great Britain a mandate over Palestine for the express purpose of "placing the country under such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home".[45] The populations of the Ottoman districts in the area at this time were predominantly Muslim Arabs. Did God give them the right to take Land and give to another people?
Yes, but the arabs adopted this as the name of the people in that region. A region of loose city states. And if you want to go that far back, you can't tell me you don't believe arabs occupied the area. The whole point is before 1948, people lived and breathed and enjoyed freedom, now those same peoples grandchildren do not.
Canaanites are mentioned in the Bible, Mesopotamian and Ancient Egyptian texts. It is generally thought that they originally migrated from the Arabian Peninsula.More recently Juris Zarins has suggested that Canaanite culture developed from the Circum Arabian Nomadic Pastoral Complex, from a fusion of Harifian hunter gatherers with PPNB farming cultures, practicing animal domestication, during the 6,200 BCE.
it was used as an Arabic adjectival noun since the 7th century CE. Meaning thats when it was accepted by region as its peoples ethnicity. That was a response to your comment that the word had no meaning to Arabic.
The Arabic word Filastin has been used to refer to the region since the earliest medieval. ARAB geographers adopted the Greek name. Filastini (فلسطيني), also derived from the Latinized Greek term Palaestina (Παλαιστίνη), appears to have been used as an Arabic adjectival noun in the region since as early as the 7th century CE.
I see you got your info from a Jewish Page, written by Joseph Katz, a Jew.
Not just Greeks, but people that occupied the region.
Taxi Driver?, I graduated with a Degree in Economics and currently in my last semester of my Masters. Middle Eastern studies, seriously? You could learn more by actually seeing the Middle East yourself. And to be honest, i don't believe a word you say. Anyone with common sense can see that a racist like yourself wouldn't want to study the People he hates so much. And you obviously didn't learn anything you say from class cause no school would teach the racism that you show
You show me the holocaust, i tell open your eyes and look at what the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians right now. The holocaust was over 70 years ago, how about the issue of the millions of Palestinian refugees RIGHT NOW. What about the issue of the everyday oppression Palestinians suffer through.
The jews shall reap as they have sown just like any other people that do evil and receive punishment for it. So if you shed a tear for these MURDERERS who intentionally work evil against all non-jews, then all you're really doing is crying for devils who disguise themselves as Angels so as to deceive you, rob you blind, then murder you and re-write history to make it look as if they were the victims so as to get away with it and set up the next set of victims.
i'm offended at all of the terrible comments above and below this comment. a lot of past should be forgotten, but not the holocaust. it is something that affected everyone, then and now. touching vid, btw.
The intelligent thing I heard asked was: why do Americans build dozens of monuments to israel and their war with germany, and none to slavery in America? America has its own history; we have enough monuments to germans
touching, but why don't u show this in a place where it might make a difference?.. Like Darfur or some other nation that is going through its own genocidal period.
This shouldn't have happened. The US knew about it in the early thirties. We we're reluctant to go to war & we wound up going to war anyway when Hitler declared war on the US. Terrible
I appreciate seeing this here. There are so many Holocaust deniers on YouTube. I might be one too, if not for my own personal experiences.
My grandmother's family was killed at one of the camps. I also know a number of survivors.
I live in Israel. I don't agree with what the government does, but I also ask that those people who are quick to judge all Jews and Israelis by the actions of our government remember that just as most Americans are nothing like Bush and Cheney, the same goes for us.
I'm an American-Jew, and currently in the process of making Aliyah so I can join the I.D.F. I am not trying to jump on you, but: It troubles us foriegn Jews to hear actual Israelis waver on this issue. For my part, I am leaving a life of extreme comfort and privilige here in California to go and join the I.D.F., and I am scared as heck! But I have to believe it is worth it, and that I am actually doing something good, something that will help our people. Don't you feel the same?
this is really sad. There were many other people who also suffered from Marxist Communistic Foundations--remember the bolshevik revolution--people suffered and died also--It is PURE EVIL!

Just shut up on holocaust already. Far greater evils have been done and are being commited all the time, but people only care when Jews die.
