@SnowLeopard79 It would appear that this was the less-polished version. There's no trash talk before stages, and you don't get to see the (fairly graphic for its day and style) results of the beatdowns you deliver.

And yes, the boss music is also missing.

@twitchykun I was raised in the 90s and so do I. 80s is fun too, though I'm not nostalgic of that era.

How come you're not taking damage when you get hit?

@dracius85 The way I understand it, these little square blocks are inaccurate. I think you have more than 6 hit points and 1 block will only go away after taking a certain amount of damage.

Good run. I've watched every part, and you did really good. Better than me, I add. But the only thing you didn't use too well; was the the boot. When an enemy is knocked down and lying on the on the floor unconscious, you can run up to him and press the attack button to instantly kill them with the boot. You might already know this, and think that the animation takes too long and might make you susceptible to enemy attack, but you should use it a little more for faster kills. :P

btw what are those blue horns or something coming from his head? i never figured it out i even took a picture and zoomed and still can't understand =X

@PQ5 They're supposed to be ram horns or something like that. All the games in the series have this comic book style in which parts of the toads' bodies can morph in an exaggerated way.

@TheLionKingJames6 Depends on where you're blocked on level 4. I don't know that I' particularly good at giving advice, but if you're stuck on the first part with the rocks divided into many pieces. some people suggest staying in a low corner. I'm used to being in the center so that I'm not too close to where the rocks are coming from.

@DarkEvil87 you mean the NES version? yeah ppl said this game is almost impassable lol and the NES Battletoads & DD are harder x2 than this SNES version.
