That video definatly is somers point and starting at 1:46 is the Super Surf skateboard park in Vineland, N.J. I was there that day at Super Surf that is me and my friends on the snake run, (the last scene) It was the summer of 1979. Will the person who poseted this please contact me at mike@srskate.com
I skated there as a kid. It was on my dads mail route. I got my first real Sims skateboard with kryptonics wheels. Also I believe the kid that work there was Rick. I also remember the original Ocean City skate park right below Wonderland Pier.
I can verify it- my grandfather and dad owned it (yup, Platt)! I was there everyday- we even had a skateboard team for a bit. I can't believe u have this! Awesome! Man that was sooooo much fun! Me and this chick Pam were the only girls ever there!

I lived a block away from this park as a kid. It was where 5th street dead ended before you got to the football fields and the pit. I was only 7 or 8 when I rode it, and later on used to break in after it closed.
The first part is Definitly SP. I helped build the wood half pipe. I think it was owned by the Platt Family. Later when it closed we used to sneak in before Sharks practice and ride bikes... this would have been '77-79' ???
I was born in 73' and if I recall I skated somers point which was ownend by Vic Stretton Sr. It had a sick snake run around the outside of the bowl on the right. I must have been 7 to 9 years old I remember the day they filled it in looking out the window balling.
That last half is Super Surf Skate Park, just behind sears and next to the movie theater and the Vineland Electric Plant, loved that place I skated it the first day it opened. Things changed quick and it only had the two bowls and the miles of dead snake runs. I can still remember skating to the Stones "gonna miss you" on a saturday night under the lights.
Some of the footage was Somers Point but not all of it. I was a local at the park and rode for the Skatepark team in the late 70's. Cool footage lots of memories form that place. THX...
@CementRoots Your estimate of 1977 is a couple of years early. Pig boards, Flyaway helmets, Norcon pads with plastic caps, and halfpipe ramps with flat bottom didn't exist in 1977. I'd say this was more like mid-1979. Cool vid, though!
The Somers Point skate park is seen starting at about 57 seconds into the entire clip, and lasting to about the 1 minute and 46 second mark. The last part seems to be vineland. I can't help you with the first part of the clip, perhaps cherry hill??? Not really sure.
