  • I think this is Santa Cruz or Santa Barbara.. I remember my wife telling me about it but not exactly where it happened. It didn't flood into the San francisco area because of how the bay and the gate is formed. Water flows out from the delta I guess to have push inward. But it did flood below SF at least a 100 miles up to 200 miles south. It's like 9-11 when ti happen.. Just a weird feeling to wake up and see all of it happening.

  • if you look very closely at exactly 2:33 you can clearly see that LeBron traveled..

  • Wow! Heard absolutely nothing about this.

Sometimes we'll get a storm surge, here on the Chesapeake, and you'll find boats washed up a couple hundred yards inland.

  • In days like this I wish I could fly...

  • Yep. Many docks aren't designed to even handle even the most minimal of current as this was. Bay marinas should take some lessons from river marinas who face even stronger currents on a regular basis.

  • Doesn't surprise me that religious people jump on these events as a pulpit to preach. They thrive on tragedy, death and destruction for some reason.

  • If you do not secure your boat, you get this video. Very sad for the people who lost their savings but the marina is full of boats that are secured and stable even in this elevated current. *see 3.46m in video.

  • lmao @ the dude below me

  • We cannot actually blame anybody w/ these very tragic events, GOD is in control over these happenings,However, GOD wants us to remember that HE is holy & our deeds are no longer pleasing b4 HIM & most of us do an abominition in HIS sight, by these, HE simply released HIS wrath by sending a vigirous calamities, may we can realize from our short comings in HIM, just repent of your sins & accept JESUS CHRIST as your personal savior & be saved.. tanx GOD bless!

  • Sure japan bombed pearl harbor but that is over and besides there innocent brains were washed up by this dude named Hediki Tojo i think. It is OVA!

  • we must prepare ourselves but at the same time save the japanese people

  • so very sorry to see any vessels in this situation. regards fom allan in Schooner Jenny'M' Lyttelton

  • Signs... in regard to mass fish, bird... die-offs, tsunami, earthquakes, two suns, two moons... Remember, God wants to save all... Therefore for your sake, God forewarns that, the biggest one (TDODC&D) will come over the whole earth is near. And if you do not take heed… will be too late! Jesus said: "Repent, for the kingdom of God is near." (Matthew 4:17) Le Nghia, "unworthy servant" (Luke 17:10) Capuchin Franciscan

  • @le399 Stop talking bs, srsly nerd.

  • @le399 lol

  • how bout those of u arguin...shutup...let every1 share there opinions but dont argue! and if there opinion is stupid....thumbs down 4 the comment

  • @oel97 why don't you shut the fuck up!

  • @kandeman707 Do you know that most of the people are dead who are responsible for such battles?

  • boat insurance is on the rise.

  • To those of you that happen to read this i would like to say i am truly sorry what is happening in japan is a WORLD WIDE tragedy & i do hope we can help them.

  • @kandeman707 thats better

  • looks like a lot of insurance fraud to me. well at least some taking advantage of a situation. check the plugs and pumps in those boats

  • @theoracle40 The building supplies are probably worth more than the American Dollar. The cash's value isn't worth that much anymore. They should have taken the supplies.

  • Just curious but.....didnt they say that the effects from the tsunami felt in N.America were comparable to the tides? Does this happen all the time when the tides come and go, I mean they said 7 feet up or down. DON'T go to the beach during tides!!

  • What the hell are you talking about !!. History is history and we are not those people, are you going to hate me for the crimes commited from my UK history? It is in the past, a very tragic past for all concerned but we as further generations have moved on. Oh and how many of you negative, uncaring, heatless people are using Japanese products or products invented by the Japanese? As for the US government not building after Katrina, why bring that up? This is happening now

  • so many stupid and ignorant posts,.!

  • What is Japan crying about? WE LOST TENS UPON TENS OF SMALL BOATS!

  • @Destroyifyer O.M.G.....the horror.....lol

  • I think Japan's people paid their dues for Pearl Harbor in August of 1945.

  • @JoshHottenstein fuck you. None of the people living in Japan were responsible for that. The people who were are definitely dead. Once again, FUCK YOU.

  • Comment removed

  • @JoshHottenstein Dude really? America bombed Japan not once but twice with a nuclear bomb killing hundreds of thousands of people in the blink of an eye. And yet you say they deserved this? I spit on your name

  • @SoundsLikeMaestro haha, did you even read my comment? Do you really know US History? I said "Japan paid their dues in August of 1945" ...do you know what happened in August of 1945? I'll give you a hint: it wasnt Pearl Harbor. Are you using Google Translate to read comments?

  • When a disaster like this strikes, your race, religion, sexual orientation, age, social status, and age are thrown to the wind. The only thing you are is a human, it's a shame to see so much bs thrown around like this. I couldn't imagine the pain and horror these people must be experiencing. I can only pray, that one day they can try and live a normal life again. God Bless them all, whoever they are or whatever they stand for..geez.. Have a heart people.

  • @kandeman707 remember that little saying if you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all? well this applies because honestly you are stupid because people are suffering because of this, and pearl harbor is like 60 years ago plus we are good friends with japan now :) R.I.P all that died :(

  • i'd be one sad boat owner :(

  • @Brirae15 there is always the insurance company ;-)

  • omg it reached to the west coasts as well !!!!!! are you ok guys

  • @supremelove83 Just a few precious yachts have sunk.

  • Can the new generation maybe try working on getting off this rock. For humanities sake.

  • Why is he blaming this on Col Ghadaffi of Libya?

  • @kandeman707 ...pearl harbour?that isnt a harsh comment, its a dumb one,i suppose your gonna say its karma for what happened there in pearl harbour

  • @kandeman707 you my friend are as ignorant as they come,"this is the country that bombed pearl harbor" thousands of children have gone missing and have died in this tragic disaster, was pearl harbor their fault, did they deserve that?for christs sake these are humans you're talking about just like yourself and you're saying we have no ties with them?and how the fuck do you know that the japanese didnt send aid or money to help with the katrina relief support?you don't know anything at all do you

  • @sammyt1111 Japan has been one of the US's strongest allies in the Far East. Most of the WW2 vets that bombed Pearl Harbor are long deceased, and their descendants love American culture, so much Baseball and J-pop that it's comical. Thanks for calling out that ignorance

  • @sammyt1111 Agree. Its entirely irrelevant what some guys did in the 1940s. And if not, why not mentioning the nuclear weapons which has been dropped on them by the United Self-righteous America? People who see japanese as "war enemies" are deluded ignorants. We are in the year 2011 not 1940.

  • @sammyt1111 Honestly... the Japanese at the time deserved Hiroshima. Are you saying that you would rather that not of happend and had the Japanese continue to support the nazis? Look up some of the horrific war crimes the japanese and nazi forces commited. Yeah this tsunami is no joke but alot of the people who are crying over this are the same people who went "Meh" during the Haiti incident.

  • @ProjectKYA The sad thing about Haiti, was that big North American companies sent building supplies to rebuild homes and schools. But most of that stuff was either left on the runway or thrown out!! They only wanted cash! How ungrateful is that.

  • @kandeman707 Japan poured in a lot of financial and material help for Katrina.

  • @signorellil Many countries helped Katrina victims, while politics re-routed the 'help' else where. the world truly cares for one another, yet many politicians had other agendas with the money and 'help' being sent. Many Katrina victims were not allowed to leave Louisiana and were forced to die there by armed guards. I know this to be true, because i have family from the northern part of the state that has the truth on the matter, and are safe because they live in the northern part of Louisiana.

  • @signorellil @kandeman707 Also japan is our ally, they have no military, they rely on our military to protect them. And @kandeman707 ??? Learn some fucking history you ignorant racist...

  • @fighter512 Actualy Japan is America closest ally in Asia, and probably America closest ally everywhere along with the UK. What's wrong with some American these days? Almost every single offensive, racist or simply unproductive comment on Sendai quake video seems to come from someone in the US!!!!

  • @signorellil What's wrong with most Americans now-a-days?? I will tell you, they think they are better than everyone! They think their rights and concerns are more important then everyone elses. This is coming from an American!

  • @fudgesickle1 Most people are blinded by vanity and they don't care about others

  • @fighter512 Actualy Japan is America closest ally in Asia, and probably America closest ally everywhere along with the UK. Not a country I would like to insult, if I had been from the States. What's wrong with few US people these days?

  • @signorellil Im aware lol ive studied the history, I've read endless hours of books having to do with WWI WWII :) but Kandeman707 is unaware :p

  • @kandeman707 ...are you that stupid or are you simply faking stupidity? If you're faking, congrats, good job, go to Hollywood, you seem to be a good actor.

  • @Lightningchase1973 hahaha good one

  • @kandeman707 Where have you been living, under a rock? Japan is one of our strongest allies! If Japan owed anything for their attack on Pearl Harbor the paid for it 60times over in august of 1945. 60 x 2500(loss of american life at Pearl Harbor) = estimated Victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki(the lowest estimate being 150,000)

  • @kandeman707

I fucking hate stupid inbred 707 fucks like you with no education, making completely fucking autistic claims about something you have NO FUCKING CLUE ABOUT. Please, do the world a favor and light yourself on fire after checking your kids into an orphanage.

  • Thanks for sharing this barely believable piece of footage...! It's incredible that something 6,000 miles away can have such a devastating effect! :(

  • Why didnt boat owners go out of harbour to avoid this damage?

  • @waitarerebill Because they knew they would receive teice what their boat was worth from the insurance companies.

  • @waitarerebill i asked my self the same question where is minds.. ppl?? why we became so lazy even to think

  • @waitarerebill that's exactly what I would have done knowing that several miles off shore would be safe.

  • @waitarerebill They lack in the brains department.

  • in California soon could be a tsunami
