Lol, Just broke a mare in for her very first ride the other day. The trick is giveing them a verbal cue, If you turn thier head to the left pretty and they bend it, drop your right hip and it throws them off balance and they have no choice but to move. Just be warned some of them will fall over because it confuses them, But iv'e never had one buck useing this tactic. Lol, just a tip though, Never kick, squeez. ;) Less bucking then and it makes them more responsive to aids later on.

Hey, not going to tell you how to ride, I myself have alot to learn and I don't care how you ride honestly, you do what you want :) Just a little advice, you do what you want with it but it helped me alot. Always look infront of you, or in the direction you want to go. You were looking at your horse. Our horses know where we are looking, so if you look at a certain point, that's where your horse will go. If you look down, down you go :P

Wow! if I could give some adivce, once your on him, take the reins, and pull his head to your knee, the if he bucks, he cant and can only go in circles, and it wont hurt him, then get off. dont rush him to walk straight forward the first time. just get on, sit for a few mins, and get off. the next day or 2, move one small step forward, and if he starts to run, try your best to turn his head. dont just pull back because he doesnt know what that means yet. great job though!

Instead of using your legs you should've just used the reins like you did right at 00:29 but you should've kept on doing that and not use your legs until later... You did an awesome job staying on that little rodeo ride, though!! And that's a beautiful horse!!!
