This clip is damn funny, but in response to a few commenters here -- Cohen's HBO era was far more sharpened and refined. Perhaps a tad less creative than his earlier days, but with much more subtlety and focus and less slapstick. The removal of the annoying laugh track was also long overdue.

I think he was a lot better in his pre-HBO days, back when he was still fresh.

This is a good segment. The language part reminds me of Christmas three years ago when my Welsh grandfather was trying to get my Irish father to say "Merry Christmas" in Welsh. The hard "ch" in the back of the throat is what made me think of it.
