Seriously , the joke here is that you have to be really really really stupid to forget your mantra, since you've repeated it over and over to yourself for hours. Jeff Goldblum plays his small but unforgettable role as DUMBEST GUY IN CALIFORNIA . This is not a dig at Goldblum. I'm saying that he has three seconds to establish his character and he does it.
