Just go to see the numbers, George plays 16th notes at 280bpm, that is 1120 single strokes (remember that metronomes plays 4th notes so, 16th notes are 4 times faster than 4th notes (280x4= 1120) ) So 1057 notes in a minute is around 264bpm in a metronome (george wins!!). The other is that in his song george AEOS of a burning .... the plays for 5 minutes at 280bpm. Also remember that to enter the record guines you not only need to play fast, but you must ask to be measured for the record :-)

Yea those are Axis Pedals, but try that speed on an actual bass drum and not an electric kick. Thats like cheating. the small diameter gives a much faster rebound/recoil of the pedals and head, making it require much less effort or technique to accomplish that.

I rarely listen to emo because I'm Metalhead 49.5% of the time (Yes I might as well should have put 50% but I really am that 49.5%, 'cause that's not me. I know how ironic!) And don't judge me even for listening to a sprinkle of emo. And one MORE thing, RGzDarkDiamond (even though I can absolutely agree with you) and everyone else in the world, we all make mistakes, and JUDGE people, it's just unfortunately part of human nature and life. And we as humans are responsible for ALL our actions.
