Oh my goodness, I got so scared and concerned the moment the music started playing. XD They should have explained what was happening in this song before they started singing it because I was going off! Lol. But after watching the rest of the video I totally understand and I think its really clever. I wish this would come to broadway soon!!!!

But the song style seems to be completely different from the rest of the songs in the score..

I saw this live last night and it totally works in the story. It is hilarious and catchy and the girl who plays Aladdin is amazing!

That's not the reason at all that the song was cut from the original movie. I hope this explanation works for the musical, but I am not so sure about it. It's not even that good of a song. I would rather they use "To Be Free" or a new song altogether.

@fairygal1989, um...Jasmine puts on an act 2 times in the movie. Wow. 2 whole times. Yep. That definitely counts as "always." She did it once to save her hand from being chopped off, and another time to save Agrabah from being taken over by an evil sorcerer. Omg. Wooow. She is so selfish and dishonest. Always. She was being such a liar when she told the guards she was the princess and showed her headband, such a liar when she kept telling everyone she wanted to marry only for love. THAT BITCH!

@Becca5002 Apparently in the song she's trying to scare away her suitors. So yes, it actually is like Jasmine. Because she often acts like a different person in order to get away with things, such as the scene where she pretends to be Aladdin's crazy sister, or when she pretends to be in love with Jafar. This is her putting on an act.
