  • was this not the type of jet used in the greman v1-buzz bombs?

  • So... It was made in china? haha. riddle: how tall is a chinese man? .... yes he is. haha get it? how tall. Like How Tall. That's his name. He's a chinese man. Get it? How long is a china man :D how mean is a china man? hahaha I crack myself up. Cool. I've yet to seen a video of this powering anything realistic.

  • Thanks, that video was really quiet

  • beautiful colors.

  • $5 to touch it

  • @programme1111 You really think $5 will cover the hospital bill?..

  • @Lucifer9387 Ahhh nope...

  • Pulse jet is not interesting to me, it has short life because of intake membrane, and low performance, i recomend you building turbo jet engine, it is not hard at all, almost all parts you can take out of turbo charger which you can remove from some car in scrap yard for free or small fee.

  • @XStarss Valveless pulse jets have no "membrane"...hence the "valveless"

  • I'm surprised failure doesn't occur by melt down.

  • you wanna use high nickel arstenitic stainless for your hot areas at least,

but incolnel 718 is 80% as strong as it is at room temp but at 925 degrees C

where i work we use several scrap blocks of the stuff to sit large steel slabs on top of inside heat treatment furnaces, reaches 1200 degrees C often.

it takes months for inconel to oxidize and scale up as much as even stainless steel does in a hour.

  • i thought it said pussyjet engine

  • the engeneering marvel would be getting these to run without poping out fillings, and making your'e ears blead while you throw up... that would be impressive...

  • CERAMIC COATINGS!

  • That is fucking serious and shouldnt b taken lightly! There is ALOT of math to these! True genius design! 2 thumbs up bro!

  • Looka like its about to cause another hiroshima. Japan, this ones your fault.

  • Is that advanced!?

    It is melting!!! haaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha....

  • Thats a great sound for a small PJ. PS, please people, get over HAARP. That chicken coop couldnt roast a marshmellow. I'm serious, enough. HAARP. LOL. Nonsense. You do realize that cosmic rays are passing 'right the fuck through' our planet, right now, with far more power than ANY man made device? Constantly? Right now?

  • Seems very dangerous to stay near, at least. An about pushing the throttle as you like It´s a good thing, I only tried a jet engine in a PC video game simulator, the IL-2 Sturmovik and when I tried the Me 262 the power engines blow up in a too fast use of the throttle.

  • What frequency do you use? How is it throttled back and forth?

  • Pretty cool. What's the thrust?

  • these engines where designed in germany during the second world war you fuckwit not america

  • @willa5000 Nope. This engine along with the rest of the engines on this channel were designed and built in America.

  • @BeckTechnologies Comprehension fail. He's saying Pulsejets as in the technology behind them were invented in Germany, not the engines on your channel.

  • @Helge129 Its pretty clearly stated in multiple places that these engines are designed and built in America, and though the Germans designed and built many in WWII thats not where they were originally invented.

  • @BeckTechnologies Russians actually invented them I just found out, not Germans, but the Germans were the first to actively use it. America had nothing to do with the invention of the Pulsejet.

  • @Helge129 You're still forgetting that this started because some ignorant fool went off about how pulsejets weren't invented in America, which they were never claimed to be. The engines on this channel were DESIGNED and BUILT in America, by an American, although an American of German descent. The automobile may have been invented in Europe, but obviously not all cars are European.

  • @BeckTechnologies I get it, not as thick as some, nice jet aye:)

  • @BeckTechnologies I've never read that. I'm pretty sure they were designed in germany

  • @BeckTechnologies Don't get him started on turbine engines...

  • @willa5000 Yeah, and Bofors helped construct some of them.. and they were swedish.

  • modified vuvuzela

  • i dont get why people are so pissed off at this! but a few things to point out, and i am in no way telling you what to do here:

    1. that metal is extremely hot. i think you should put a protective layer around that. try to not conduct as much as possible.

    2. you should compare the weight of the engine to the thrust that it generates.

    3. you should use thicker metal for that engine; since it is orange hot, im pretty sure it will explode on impact

GOOD JOB! i can't believe a hobbyist made this!

  • Yeah, thats a complete waste of energy.....next?

  • How could you possibly use that for anything?

  • what a wast of time

  • WTF !?

  • or indeed, no more than McDonalds Beefburgers are made of beef, McNuggets are made of slightly Scottish chickens, or that McD Give a shit! So less of the patronising explanations of the name please..more explanation as to why it's being demonstrated on a BENCH!!!! rather than in a thing that's supposed to use it!! I don't fucking know, I'm a professional modelmaker not a hobbyist!

  • @pcferret I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure its hard to get a good look at something screaming by at 300 mph.

  • @BeckTechnologies If you're making these, I guess you think you are (a rocket scientist) Show one doing what it is intended to do or should I show a house brick flying along in a package that incorporates avionics, etc etc etc? Or at the very least join in with the America / USA / Continent debate! Oh and 300mph?? Right!!!!!

  • @pcferret Arrogant much? How do you know what the engine was intended to do? Do you think these things can just be built and slapped on a plane with no static testing? This video is the very first test of this particular design. Personally I dont care what you do, a flying brick sounds like it could be pretty cool. Go look at what a pulsejet powered speed delta can do, they commonly hit speeds much higher than the RC turbine record speeds.

  • @BeckTechnologies Sensitive much is he, the yoda speaking rocket scientist is. I know what the engine is intended to do....because it's blindingly fucking obvious! Lemme guess it's not INTENDED to be a power source for a kilt weaving loom?.....or a replacement for the coffee machine?.. I'll concede (a bit) on the speed thing, but if you want to post stuff, and want comments, don't get fucking shirty when you get some you don't fucking like!....... That is all...........Out!

  • nice vuvuzela

  • Is it true French Fries aren't French...? Then are "LEVI" Jeans even Jewish...

What about Bavarian Motor Works...? I-suppose they're not even Bavarian...

American Airlines are probably owned by the Chinese & General Electrics isn't even a Colonel like Gaddafi so is anything truly real in the world anymore...

Oh-Yeah there's a $13-Trillion Dollar Debt with Chinese holding a large share & of course Homeland Insecurity says there's always real Muslim Terror too...

  • this is really cool

  • I seem to recall Beck Technologies used to sell some pulsejets online? But I can't find them now? Am I missing something?

  • hello? aint this all abt science?

  • Thats a little screamer sounds like a honeybee buzzing, be cool if you made a much larger version of that engine and mount that on a gokart.

  • I like how the arguments below my comment have nothing to do with the video lol and oh nice video very impressive.

  • it sounds like chuck norris farting

  • I'm from Brazil and we are America to, South America, you are North America don't say shit jc4crs

  • YOU mean this is made in the UNITED STATES not in "America"

America is a CONTINENT you dumb ass.

the UNITED STATES of (IN) AMERICA

Stop calling the United States "America"

  • @JC4crs Compared to 99% of Youtube videos, that is a very minor infraction of semantics and the English language. Most Youtubers can't even spell a 5-letter word, and you're busting *THIS* guy's balls? "America" is an accepted colloquialism for the USA, even though, as you point out, it is technically incorrect. If you're going to pick nits, America is not a continent, North & South America are, and they arent collectively referred to as America since N. and S. America are DIFFERENT continents.

  • @Snoep76239 Sorry Sir I had'nt seen your response before I posted mine. I'm in total agreement

  • @TheJCarson01 My comment was directed towards JC, no problems

  • @JC4crs There are other countries that call themselves the United States, before you go on a power trip maybe you should do some reading. If we all agree America is a land mass, then how is saying "made in america" any different than saying "made in europe" or "made in asia" considering its distinguishing two different land masses on opposite sides of the planet. I look forward to you response as soon as the bus drops you off from school.

  • @JC4crs NORTH America and SOUTH America are 2 CONTINENTS dumb ass, and the fact that the rest of the people your country shares this hemishere with dont like to associated with you... There is no problem saying America...... We all know how you are.

  • @TheJCarson01 so according to YOU we have 6 continents? America is one continent north and south together, just so you don't have to go back to school there are five continents on planet earth america, eurasia, australia africa and the antarctic, sit down boy grade F-. At least use freaking google before you call someone a dumb ass if you don't know shit even about the ONE continent you live on.

  • @Matracokura Um, before you start telling people to go back to high school, you should graduate yourself. There are SEVEN continents, not five. A continent is not merely a hunk of land. A continent is geologically defined based on tectonic plate boundaries. "Eurasia" may be a hunk of land, but Europe and Asia are different continents. Ditto for N. & S. America. You probably could have even Googled it before opening your mouth and kept your foot out of it. LMFAO

  • @JC4crs ragin like a boss.

  • @JC4crs Redneck detected.

  • @JC4crs this isn't the United States of freakin South Africa

  • @JC4crs Who cares, go play scrabble.

  • @JC4crs ye but if its maid in america wats rong it sed its not maid in cina i downt sea yor prob ar you dafft

  • i dont get it!!!!!

  • That thing made in china?

    *TROLLFACE*

  • V 1 I'm proudly ;-)

  • i blew my ears of (had a headset on quite loud) au

  • sounds like a vaccuum how man lbsof thrus is it putting out?

  • Explode damn it!

  • wait...french fries arent french???

  • half life sound

  • What does this thing do?

  • That's a very noisy space heater!

  • кузница

  • how much thrust does this thing produce?

  • A very smart Engine!

  • i'll give u buck if touch it

and million dollar if u sit on it!!

  • @SuperAaaaa123456 show me the money!

  • @BeckTechnologies are u gona touch or sit?

  • @BeckTechnologies And now the million dollar question... how much thrust did it produce?

  • @BeckTechnologies give him a "buck" if he could make a normal sentence.

  • @SuperAaaaa123456 put it in ur ass il give u a laugh

  • @SuperAaaaa123456 Chuck Norris did that for free.

  • 1.02 min of noise

  • ok, so you've built the most annoying thing in the world. How does it help me fly again?

  • и сколько килограмм давит и какой расход?

  • Me rowe you rong time.

  • A Chinese vuvuzela?

  • What a waste of energy! Lets build pro-engine that freezes during work!

  • yeah but how big is the power source that's connected to it? ?? lol

  • @darktide31 All you need to do is add propane, and light it up! look on wikipedia for valveless pulse jet.

  • that thing is goeing to melt!

  • Don't understand. Are you a Chinese or are you an American?

  • smexy

  • Racist.... who gives a shit what country it's in German invention anyway lol your just a racist

  • so is there any practical use?

  • @GetTheGr33n 1. Some people attach them to go karts.... 2. you can cook food with it

  • is it hot? =D =D =D

  • does that noise make any1 else kinda sleepy ?

  • @deanomcevoy since you mention it. yeah :p xD

  • can you touch it? :/

  • um, burning iron/

  • How much thrust boi?

  • so whats the use for this

  • death to all the chinks

  • i dont what is that thing but i dont want to touch it

  • French fries are french. Period.

  • @CardSharkOfficial put a vuvuzella in your ass xP (joke)

  • @CardSharkOfficial NO they were first eaten in Belgium , France came a very close second . It's just a detail , but right is right

  • Wat is it

  • That's awesome, imagine attaching that to a go-kart!

  • That's hot(;

  • Its fake :P One of u guys are farting your way out :)

  • Looks a bit hot

  • a man has been found dead in his back yard today , currently the suspect is being investigated, as it turns out to be a next door neighbor.

  • big quiestion whats the whole point of a thermal pulse jet engine because i just don't get it ?

  • @thekingsora no moving parts to go wrong :)

  • Vuvuzela from Hell..

    Hellzela

  • MrKidze:how can you have rpm with no moving parts ?!

  • Где купить эту зажигалку?

  • Piece of shit

  • someone should lick the bright red end

  • @JJBoii2297 Try the white end, the guys say it's cooler...

  • @JJBoii2297 Chuck Norris had sex with it...

  • where is the rpm coming from ...

  • @sgolosio I'm not sure an rpm exists, it sounds more like a blower of some sort, perhaps the variation in fuel injected?

  • Thats one hot looking pulse jet that thing sounds a bit like a swarm of honeybees with the high pitched whine. Be cool if you could make one many times that size and mount it on a go kart and buzz down the road. Very cool indeed. I a couple of the Reynst style pulse jets that utilize jars I have plans to use a 46 OZ tomato juice can since steel won't crack the way glass does.

  • i dare you to touch the yellow part

  • What happens if you spill water on the extremely hot side?

  • @DanieleBecchetti probably will crack the pipe

  • im sure the heat wont cause any problems

  • put ur dick in it lol

  • in regards to the caption - who gives a fuck where it comes from - get over yourself

  • French fries were invented in france....

  • germany used pulse jet engines in there v-1 rockets to bomb out london. no new technology here, maaybe some new optimization to the equation, but that might be it. either way, still a Fackin awesome video! XD

  • holly sh*t (~,<)d

  • Doesn't seem very safe. How could you safely mount that to anything without risk of fire?

  • most powerful vuvuzela ever !!!

  • @SEAL52

  • @ladiesman2I7 whaaat ?? I can't hear you :D:D (damn vuvuzela.... )

  • Is it hot?

  • @GeneticallySuperior1

Definitely not hot at all. Go ahead touch the GLOWING RED BURNING JET.

  • HAHAHAHA? it didn't blow up. i'm not laughing

  • Funny " in situm " comment . In fact , not at all about what is chineese or not , but what belongs to WAASP . As we saw it in the USSR time , any bold human invention had to be issued by communism genius . We watch it to day , in jews obsessive mania to point out all of american wealth that comes from "jewish genius" and is a jewish patent . So we learnt that American invented the pulse jet , same way that the hero of the film " the last samouraï " was a courageous son of America.

  • @BOOOZB Um, what? what does that have to do with the video, like, at all?

  • wish i could have hobby alike, cheers

  • We all know it was really when you saw your first guy naked in gym.

  • introducing the chinese auto vuvuzela now with 50% more annoyance :D

  • I think with this "German based Design" the V1 Cruise Missle learns to fly the "Pulsjet Engine" called Argus-Schmidt-Rohr due to the Berlin Company "Argus" an the Engineer Paul Schmidt. The USA take this Engine in 1944-45 and Build an own one where later the real cruise missle grown out. Please tell me the chinese part of this technology :-)

  • Thats a light bulb, not an engine :P

  • chinese vuvuzela D:???

  • How much thrust?

  • i like the coolig idea

  • yeah and pulsejets were invented in germany not america

  • @discomjim beg your pardon Russia not Germany

  • +1 for how much thrust does this produce? It doesnt seem to want to move a bit of wood

  • @scoop2004 its in a vice thats mounted. . .?

  • @WarlordZeddicus a vice thats mounted to a piece of wood...

  • French fries got their name because they were first made by Belgians that spoke French and American servicemen based there couldn't tell the difference. Belgian Fries would have sounded stupid anyway lol.

  • Roast some whinnys on that beeotch!

  • What does that run on. I know how you could make that run cool and increase thrust

  • That thing is really hot how would you prevent it from burning up the airframe?

  • @ap0lmc Use thicker metals and add a few heat sinks on areas that produce the most heat

  • i dare u to touch it =3

  • Can u say VIAGRA

  • Damn that runs hot. How much thrust does it produce?

  • TOUCH IT!!! XD

  • was gonna say sounds like a pulse jet. aka buzzbomb type engine. but i saw in the description it IS a type of pulsejet. i want one. have no idea what its use would be but hell i don tcare

  • IS THAT BAUTISTAS BAT?
