can someone tell me why how I can set my blade to closed where the teeth are really close to the blades? right now it is not that far apart but I want it to be able to cut real close. I wanna try to get it as close to how it is pictured on the box of the fademaster. if anyone knows.. please message me. thanks
@danrod2010 just loosen the two main screws and slide it over or down until it looks right... having them crooked can cause you to loose cutting power.
Thank you so much for posting this! My husband already broke one blade lock trying to put the blade back on (We had lost our manual). We just bought and replaced the blade lock today, and he couldn't figure it out till we found this. Thanks so much!
i am loving the outliner II...great for that balding look with out using razors...

@islandBEEF I must agree but if your really really want a clean look try the styliner II, you wont be disappointed.

doing the spring one is most difficult, I just out of curiosity unscrewed my trimmer, and now it is 'screwed' and I can't fix it :(

Thanks so much. I have decided to start clipping my dog myself and had no idea how to change the blade safely, but your instructions were very clear.

I learned something. I always thought your clipper had to be off when putting on another blade.
Thanks Ivan!
