actually I red somewhere that the sound is not made in the mouthpiece. One question, though. I do vibrato by moving my right hand slightly up and down, is this the right way to do it?

you can do it with the jaw or the hand.

I agree, your flat fingers can really mess you up if you're ever stuck playing on an inferior instrument. The valves get stuck if you don't push them in perfectly straight and by angling your fingers like that you're likely to get the valves pushed in on an angle.

I agree with you but if you play with your fingers flat and lay them down straight it is the same as playing with the tips of your fingers also with the fingers flat I have had 14 surgeries on my right arm and had to change my playing style to my own style after i became an all state trumpet player I had to relearn how to play basically what I am saying is every player has is own style That is a Stradivarius and nothing is wrong with it after all these years of playing it with those fingers

Your not supposed to play with your "Flat fingers" it messes the valves up.

Also, you should show about tonging and stuff. :)
