Great song. Sadly, though, the video is yet another prime example of obsessive and self-indulgent fans shouting her lyrics back to her. Last two concerts I went to, she had to stop in the middle of songs to politely ask people to stop doing that. Glad she's taking control of things, elsewise her concerts will just become arenas of masturbational fan indulgence instead of venues for art and poetry and beauty.

How very aesthethic. Shall we all sit quietly and pay attention, then, with clear minds, so as to better understand "the universal beauty" in front of us? Those traditions are rooted in the exclusion of everyone except the artistic elite, and women were part of that exclusion.
Music that is not made by that higher strata needs to have utility because its standards are not merely other art but real life as well. The sing-along is part of that utility. Aestheticism is and dying.
