How come tourists aren't aware of the bad neighborhoods of Chicago. I live in Cicero, Illinois which is right next to Chicago and if you drive about 1/2 a mile from where I live eastbound on Roosevelt Road you'll see Chicago on one side with vacant lots with the former foundations still intact and Cicero on the other with its dirty buildings.
This is not a black vs white issue, this is a liberal vs conservative issue. This blight is the result of nearly fifty years of liberal policies. This is what the liberal Democrats and the liberal Republicans have in mind for the rest of the country, pockets of wealth, where the ruling elite live, surrounded by blight, where the rest of us get to live.
Do these tourists somehow elude the decrepit neighborhoods by taking the Eisenhower Expressway to the more "Beautiful" Part of Chicago.
