  • I have NO idea why this came up when I was searching Rodan. Not anywhere near the same thing.

  • this band is fuckin tight

  • Definitely some Styx influence as well.

  • what I read is queen, beatles, led zeppelin? all true but first thing I thought about was David Bowie. Very! awesome song.

  • Blitizen trapper doing a led zeppelin cover in the crustal ballroom Portland...best show ever!!!

  • oh hell yeah..! queen + beatles? I am going to see them with Dawes in November and CANT WAIT!!!

  • @seonfox I saw them the other night here in Nashville and I must say that Dawes killed it. They were amazing and Blitzen Trapper came on and just turned everything up. I predict you will enjoy it thoroughly.

  • @MattMCollins Yes, I saw them in Petaluma a couple weeks back and Dawes absolutely owned the stage. I must say I was very disappointed in Blitzen Trapper; although much of that was the sound mixing, I think. They had the bass up so much to the point of overwhelming everything else that it just came across as this wall of sound crowding out everything. You could not distinguish any lyrics in the vocals which was disappointing for such a lyric-conscious band.

  • Do caralho!

  • its like the beatles meets queen. so awesome

  • Holy hell, they did a good job on getting the 70's tone right, amazing production! Lyrics are a bit weak in the intro, but other than that this song rules. Amazing!

  • It reminds me of queen a little :)

  • we are whatching this vid because there is a hole in my frends bed we call the void that will kill the pg tips mokey

  • @TheURBANxCLAN LOL you guys sounds stoned. Thumbs!

  • Um...this is Split Enz ,I think, with Phil Judd, and Tim Finn singing.....no seriously....does anyone else hear this??

  • Their voice is so touching that it makes me shiver.

  • The first half of this is epic and is on a par with some of the the great rock and roll songs ever.

  • Sounds like they just took a lot of titles and sounds from 60s and 70s songs and bands and incorporated it into one big song...not that it's a bad thing.

  • 1 person doesn't like this song.

No offence, but that person was me.

  • @papero7k hahahahaahaha

  • @papero7k you spelled "offense" wrong... at least we know its an uneducated person who doesn't like this song.

  • @papero7k

Would you like it in a house? Would you like it with a mouse?

  • So creative and magical..Wonderful track :)

  • sounds like queen and david bowie mixed

  • R.I.P Lady Gaga i

  • Playing this song with a three-second lag synchronized with itself makes the first 20 seconds sound awesome.

  • epic - it has a little bit of everything that's awesome :)

  • Beatles, Genesis, Kansas, Queen, Bowie.. united in one song. Perfection.

  • WOW beatles all the way the first 30 seconds!

  • when this world of ours is nothing but a long lost song

  • oh my holy lord..

    lovin' this song so much!

  • I really like this work. Good job! The pace and progression give me the same feeling that some of of David Bowie's work does. A number like this must take a lot of time and elbow grease to get just right; and I'd say it's just right. I really am impressed.

  • great!

  • From 3:18 to about 3:30 it sounds like Boards of Canada. Love them and love Blitzen Trapper!

  • These guys, Bright Eyes, Osvaldo Paese, Fleet Foxes and Jakob Dylan are some of the best singer songwriters of our time.

  • Sounds like Genesis with Peter Gabriel. Likin' it!

  • these guys and mgmt are about the only ones making real shit anymore

  • Anyone noticed the Beatles?

  • i didn't know they still make music like this....quite reassuring...

  • 古い音楽を意識してても、なんか新鮮ですよね。

    Fleet Foxesもそうだけど、

    良いです!

  • This song is so fucking good. It kind of sucks the rest of the album doesn't really live up to the first track.

  • @GabriHella are u crazy, all album is awesome, especially for "the man who would speak true"

  • @wasabihansen I love "The Man Who Would Speak True", probably my favorite song off the album.

  • @GabriHella I couldn't agree more.

  • I heard a lil bit Queen in it. Fascinating song!

  • @wietube87 I saw Wayne and Garth in the mirth mobile smiling while listening to this song

  • @wietube87 I'm getting a Kansas vibe.

  • @wietube87 the beatles and zepplin too. Good song, but what does it mean?

  • @wietube87 "March of the black Queen" at parts?

  • This song is pure Kinks

  • Woah! It's the '70s again!

  • this is a nice strong dose of how popular music should be. god blees 'em

  • I saw these guys last week (06/2010) @ Variety Playhouse. Great show! This is an awesome new album too.

  • Wow this song just speaks to me. I have listened to this several times now and I have found something new in the song every time. It is wonderfully epic.
