I love how he spoke his mind without malice. His objectivity (and his love for FIlipino film) is commendable. I'm not really an avid fan of indie films, (I just stumbled on this vid actually) but it feels so freeing to see somebody speak and think this way. RiP.
The film industry in the Philippines should have moral responsibility in presenting movies that can challenge not only the acting abilities of the artists but also the mind & consciousness of the viewers.
Hindi iyong puro suntukan, barilan, saksakan at karahasan kundi iyong may kabuluhan sa tunay na buhay dahil madalas ito ang sinusunod na panuntunan ng mga manunuod. Para lang kumita sa box office, kahit ang palabas ay walang katuturan kaya tuloy masdan mo ang sikolohiya ng Pinoy sa ngayon.
yea in the philippines you can die from trying to shed light on people and try to get them out of the level of intellect that the entertainment industry is trying to keep them in. its pretty tragic that such a promising individual who was passionate about the our culture and could have possibly brought about a revolution in the way we view things that are filipino is shot to death. whoever did this or had it done, know that change for the better is inevitable.

He was right about something though, that the filipinos is not prepared to take his kind of criticism.
Yes,there was robbery, or that the hired killers were told they could rob the place. Why did they have to wait for an hour for Mr. Tioseco?
