Tibets culture is magnificent and unique. Until 1950 Tibet retained that ancient culture and was revered by Buddhists throughout the world.

Dalai Lama was just a teenager when he was in Tibet. He was busy studying about Buddhism. He didnt have time to own slaves. How can he own slaves when he himself was born in poor family.

A British mission was sent into Tibet to view the scale of Russian influence there (this was during the time of the 'Great Game'). After finding no evidence of Russian influence the mission was stood down and Tibets independence respected under a treaty signed to prevent and future influence from Russia.

Actually, a bit of history lesson to you, Tibet have been part of China since first 13th centry, at 1793 the chinese emperor Qianlong alrdy issued a law that made it clear that all Dalailama reincanation must first be approved by the central imperial court first.
