@misfitstattoo I love Muay Thai, don't get me wrong. Every real fight anywhere, the fight goes to the ground 90% of the time. You have to know Bjj, you can't win a fight in every position. It's like Muay Thai, if you don't know the basics to protect yourself you will get killed on the feet.

i dont know, i do respect the sport and the thai people but in thailand they used it for making money and making money of small children put in thme into fights !The real muai thai in thailand is nothing common that westurn people think about the sport! Its just brutal way trayng to get little money for survaving

@TAC412 you cant compare martial arts. just fighters. if you have a guy that does karate for example and he is traning and fighting for as long as the thai boxers then he will on par with the thai boxers

even though i love muay thai i say the old white guy is full of shit, the chinese san da team beat the thai boxing team more than ones and thai people arent the only poor asians in the world chinese and korean people have a hard life as well and are cerntainly used to punishment as well. and because the bearded dude in the beginning talks about kicking with the foot the lowest part of the body shows he doesnt know shit about cause in muay thai you use your shin to kick. but muay thai is awesome

The bearded dude was right. muay thai roundhouse kicks use shin yes but the TEEP/FOOT JAB uses the foot. lol. You should know this dude. I do mauy thai.

The bearded dudes knowledge is correct. He is talking about the chinese kung fu team that challenged thai fighters in the 70s using traditional kung fu.. Not about modern sanda matches that took place in 2000's :)
