how can you change heads in hot toys truetypes? is there a specific way of doing this?

@sharper7gr Best way is to just pull the head and the neck off. It should not be too much of a problem. You can use a hair dryer to make the plastic softer if it's too hard to remove

I bought a headplay head, is it normal for the ring in the neck to pop out on one side? Im afraid it will disconnect from the head completely and then my head won't stay on and keep falling off

@junkyturd Well they are supposed to make those heads to fit properly. Not sure why it's popping out? I never had a Headplay head, but I still know there must be something wrong if it's doing that. I would contact the person who sold it to you.

I know i'm late on this, but thanks for the Truetype body review, it was really helpful. I should hopefully have a Bank Robber Joker coming in next week and i was planning on using the alternate head to customize and do the Classic Look Joker. It looks like this narrow shoulder version should work perfectly.

At last after a loooong wait we see now and the female truetypes,i just ordered two from ebay.The caucasian and one Cuban American.The strange part was that the caucasian was a preorder but on another seller the cuban was ready for shiping! And i wait the triads evalution that is one of the most realistic of all.Why you try to asemble the iron man's hand in the true type? i was sure that this was not fit.

No the hand did not fit, so I got the suit.

Hot Toys have made a Tony Stark (Mech Test Version) so I'm glad I made a suit version instead

@dinolast hello sir ive got a question, how many points of articulation does the hot toys truetype body figure has??? im really curious about it. ive only seen some pictures of some hot toys figures like the resident evil 5 figs which is cool on their poses and im really curious about the articulation. please sir send me some info on it.

My Truetype's head came with eyes looking right so I dunno if thats standard or the guys at Hot toys got lazy.

I ordered myself one of the new TT bodies, think i should be getting it fairly soon. I want to get a Stark head but can seem to find one, atleast not at a decent price atm.

I plan on getting one, but my only concern is the durability. Are the true-type figures durable? are they fragile? could they break easily?

I recieved the new Truetype body w Narrowed Shoulders and the Hot Toys Mens Suit last week and I totally recommend the suit man for Tony Stark. I also planned on making another kit bash with a Tank top, jeans and shoes and customizing the chest on the body, but I really love the suit. It is insanely detailed. You could, as I plan on ordering another TT Body and perform surgery with the dremel on his chest, then model a little arc reactor with a LED in it. But dont just stick an LED in it.

Yeah. The crotcch stands suck, not only do they not work all that well, but they dont allow alot of poses. Unless you plan on just letting the figure stand up straight or a few adjustments. The waist grip stand allows for must more posability.

Although, I do agree the crotch stand is a little less noticable, the waist one is much more preferred. Just like dinolast said on his review, crotch stands with rubber suits arent that helpful, especially with the Iron man figures.

p.s.... i really hate that 'up-your-c#$%' stand from Hot Toys...

hope they will bring back 'grab-your-waist' stand as standard issue item...
