I hate this demon lady >_< shes like all the bad qualities of Godot, Franziska and Manfred von Karma (Well Manfred has no good qualities....) but I have to give you points for a prostecutor that puts up an extreamly good fight (:
Good point though, if he was stabbed in the back by Laharl, then why was his ring in the ambassador's hand? Laharl could've kept it, plus he didn't escape from the crime scene AND the security in the treasury sucks so the ring coul've been stolen by anyone, perhaps by some rebellious angel
The last two episodes sit almost completed on my computer. Thing is, I can't do any more work until people send me their voices and some artwork. So there. If I had them, I would dare say both episodes would be out this month.
The ONLY evidence of his death is the photo at 10:20, in which you can't see his face. That could be someone else, or it could be a scarecrow with a wig and wings glued to it and red tea spilled on its back. The ambassador could have been kidnapped or murdered in another location. Most probably, he could have faked his death. After all, he apparently volunteered for the mission and called Laharl out to the hotel. He could be a conspirator.
In "Phoenix Wright: Devil's Attorney - Episode 2 (2/2)" starting at about 7:03, Laharl says "I went inside and then I saw the dead ambassador, who had been stabbed in the back. I was just about to leave and contact the Celestian authorites about the incident... when that woman and her group of goons came out from nowhere and arrested me." However, he doesn't explain how he knew it was the dead ambassador. He may have assumed based on whose room it was.
As much as I'm really, REALLY suspicious of Judy and Cesenesq, I have some evidence that Judy isn't the killer.
First, why didn't she just lie and say that she saw Laharl stab the victim? Maybe the other members of her security team are more honest than she is, but short of that, nothing stops her from saying that.
Two, Flonne and Laharl's statements indicate that her team arrived at the hotel after Laharl had eaten the candy and that Judy got to the room after Laharl did.
@tifforo1 OBJECTION! About your evidence. Her team saw it too and there is a probability of getting the truth out of them, and something as cruical as witnessing the murder will imstantly cast suspicion on her if discovered that she lied. Plus, it was unnesesary. Truth is a powerful weapon. And yes, Judy did enter the room after Laharl did. But for the SECOND time where the murder has already taken place. Prinny Day means no security, which lets her getting there unseen by any other time.
@mattwo7 Whats funny is Wright could put Prava on the defendant's spot. Considering that they raided the castle and wouldn't allow Wright to search for evidence he could claim that she stole the ring during the raid to forge evidence.
@mattwo7 *Shrugs* That's THEIR justice system, to take from the Judge. the system is not ours to dispute. The power...really does seem to lie with thep prosecution here, evern more-so than the games makes it up to be.
I think I might know who is the real culpirt. I am thinking that it might be Judy herself! Why else is she so admant for a conviction?! Also, why else would she refuse Phoenix to look for evidence?
This is pretty good (Though some voices need work, just saying...), and I can't wait for the next episode. Also, a thought occurs. Will Phoenix run into any Prinny versions of people he's met on Earth? Like the 'God of Prosecuting' Manfred Von Karma, or his ex-girlfriend Dahlia Hawthorn? After all, they lived sinful lives...why shouldn't they be Prinnies...?
i found something odd on her tetimony she said that the embassador has open the door for him but he was stabbed on its back and there was no fingerprints on the corpse and stuff.
There's no deadline yet, but I'm going to say it'll take a month or two still - need to get some things sorted out of the way first. The final episode(s) will be published more quickly, I hope.

@WingmanVWXYZ I'd like to place an objection right here as according to Wikipedia, the European release was on 9th of February 2010. Also, one of my friends bought a copy from a retail store, straight off the shelf all the way here in Northern Europe. I have no idea why they wouldn't ship to the Netherlands! o.0
@LordIban I have absolutely no clue either. Also, not to sound pushy or anything, or ask too much, but do you still need some voice actors? If so, I'll gladly help ^^
This is a very nice series so far, the plot is good, nice voice acting and good music to fit in with the parts.
The only think that bothers me is that once it was over, I was searching the video for the song names at the credits in the beginning, only to see names of people appear in the music part of the credits because I was wondering what music was played at 17:53.
I'm sorry if somebody already asked before, but I checked the other comments and could not find what it was called.
@Jaworthofawesomeness To answer your question: I wrote all the textboxes in one day and seems that out of the entire script I got the positions of two letters reversed . I'm actually amazed that there aren't that many other typoes!
WHY AM I ONLY WHATCHING THIS NOW. THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR NOT CHEACKING MY EMAIL FOR A BAJILION WEEKS. and it didnt show up in my sub box either...
bah.
ANYWAY.
PFFT YAY.
epic beginnging is EPIC.
oh, oh, and i love the judge's voice :))
and and and i hafta say etna and laharl's voice actor/esses are AMAZING. theyve got SUCH good emotion - something i can see i was lacking a bit in a few parts here :)
besides. Nick had the right idea i'm betting with not flowing with the assumption the knife was the murder weapon. think back to the exploding tea. it wasn't ever said if the tea the staff made was delivered. if it hadn't, what if the ambassador had been delivered tea somehow anyway? that means it would be highly likely the murder weapon was a toxin. also, so obvious the cloaked angel is gonna be a trump card later on. sooo obvious.
...he accused Flonne?...FLONNE?! ARE YOU NUTS?! LAHARL'S GONNA KILL YOU IF SHE'S FOUND GUILTY! good move, but waaaay to risky. plus, Laharl's probably pissed now. besides. i suspect one of the 'dumb' prinnies, anyway. its called 'pretending to be idiots'.
"Why that arrogant prosecutor! I should hold her in contempt of court!"
...
Judgie, you let a bad Darth Vader clone tell you to screw off, and didn't even object when that German prosecutor literally whipped you every time you called for order.
Wow! I can't believe I almost missed this! First The God-Emperor of Nerdkind reviews ROB and now Ace attorney vs Disgaea ep. 3 comes? Half an HOUR of great quality fanfic. And is that castlevania music I hear at the lobby part?
"Guilty unless someone else is proven guilty." Why did Nick object to THAT. It's really not any different from his world.
@F1nnM4s0n86 the technical term is INNOCENT until proven guilty, which Phoenix relies on to save most of his cases in the begining. After all, what's the point of defending someone he KNOWS is guilty as sin?
@masaruten Have you played Ace Attorney? In there, court goes like this:
Judge: "So, the defence has proven that the witness was around there at the time of death and he had an access to potential murder weapon. What about the motive?"
Phoenix: "I...couldn't find any motive."
Judge: "I see." *penalty* "I think we've seen enough. I'm afraid I can't allow the defence to go any further. This court finds suspect GUILTY." etc.
Speaking of defending guilty, SPOILER Matt /SPOILER.
It would've made more sense blame that captain gordon guy. He had access to the treasury and everything in it, he took ALL that time to finally say the ring was stolen, and he was Judy's witness who could've been bribed or threatened or something, and since he works at the castle he could've just walked to the armoury when no one was looking and take the dagger, sneak in to the hotel, kill the ambassador, and put the ring in his hand.(not to mention that blaming Flonne is just plain wrong)
@BonbonCrystal Everyone knows Gordon is NOT smart enough to come up with this plan. Neither is Flonne, but she has some "experience". Cap is far too stubborn to be bribed and especially threatened. And if he was, he would be the wrong choice, because Judy would do anything in her power to keep anyone of her withnesses unaccused. Accusation of Flonne took Judy off-guard and grabbed by her arrogance. She thinks that Wright seriously tries to pull "Flonne did it" off, never realising the truth.
@Luminethereploid Just thinking here. But the dagger seems like a good tool for assassination right? Doesn't leave fingerprints and all. Well, what are the chances that the killer's randomly chosen weapon would be that? It's mentioned that you'd need to be a pro to identify that ability by sight alone, so the killer must be pretty well-versed in demon weaponry. Meaning it's likely that someone with that knowledge would be connected. Just putting it out there.
@Luminethereploid Point conceded. Gordon isn't exactly the most reliable person for that sort of occupation. Well, why would the murderer use the knife though. Sounds like he could've used the spoiled Poison Candy as it would've seemed easier with less investigation, although that's probably because the murderer wants to frame Laharl. Good story
@narutardkyuubi Well, yeah, that's kinda the point. Framing Laharl is the murderer's main goal. That would break the first thoughts of peace between angels and demons, accomplished in the first Disgaea game.(Because if you murder someone's peace ambassador after long history of prior wars no one in his country would want peace with yours) Obviously the racist war-hungry bunch of angels are behind it. My money on CESENESQ.
I can tell you guys are quite the Ace Attorney fanatics and you have some interesting theories going on. I should have you guys help us with the script, hehe. However, let's just say I have a few things up my sleeve...
@narutardkyuubi CESENESQ are extremely suspicous dudes. Both races work there, but it serves only for the security of Celestia. The demons working there might be the spies who were drawn by power(with Laharl gone, anyone else can become Overlord), but are used by an angel who wants to ruin Netherworld by forcing an open war and destroying it while the leader is in prison(or death sentenced). Someone close to Lamington is the mastermind, and Judy... is the murderer. Continued in the next post...
@narutardkyuubi Judy avoids the autopsy at all cost, so yes, the cause of death may not be the knife. Since Wright has two candy-related evidence, it is important. The cause of death was poison candy, delivered with the tea(angel didn't know of it's effect or it was melted into the tea and covered with sugar and the prinnies just didn't notice, due to memory problems). Luckily for the killer, Laharl stole the rest of them, thus making it impossible to notice a single one missing. Continued...
@narutardkyuubi After that, Judy stabbed the angel with a previously stolen dagger and left him with the ring, stolen as well. Then she returned in whatever the hell the CESENESQ was hanging out at the time and told them to screw the rules. They arrived right after Laharl found the body, just as he says. *epic finger point pose* That is my theory!
So Phoenix didn't get the joke near the beginning of the episode about sneaking around the castle but knew about missions Flonne had been sent on? Or did Phoenix actually get the joke after he made it...?
@tifforo1 Nah, he was just doing wild mass guessing to take time for further investigation. I'd frame Judy since i think Judy is the murderer(and somewhere here i posted the whole theory), but hey. Maybe i'm wrong.
i know this is going to sound stupid but I say the winded bitch did it that is trying to put our awesome overlord away for his whole demon life. yeah i said, don't care what happens next. XD

Okay, my very broad list of suspects would be:
Everyone in Cesenesq, especially Judy
Everyone who was at the hotel (except maybe Flonne) - manager, prinnies.
Everyone on the Celestian Council who could have forged the seal on the letter from the vicim or heard about its existence
Everyone who had access to the castle to steal the knife, ring, and/or letter
The angel who broke into the castle
Any political rivals of Laharl (Dark Assembly) or Lamington
Anyone wearing black robes

A way for him to WIN as well.
Suppose the real culprit just wouldn't go down yes?
Wright could put HIM in the defendant's spot and refuse to defend him, and Lharal could use his authority to send wright back.

That's Planet X, from the Disgaea: Hour of Darkness OST. Enjoy ^^ I do appreciate you going through the trouble of being polite about asking.

@Jaworthofawesomeness To answer your question: I wrote all the textboxes in one day and seems that out of the entire script I got the positions of two letters reversed . I'm actually amazed that there aren't that many other typoes!

Thumbs up if you think that prosecutor with the nasty attitude did it.

Rondorix 11 months ago

Oh and those are very nice photos. Who made them?
And the Voices fit perfectly to the characters.
Oh and the music sauce please.
F1nnM4s0n86 11 months ago
@F1nnM4s0n86 To answer your questions:
-How did you manage to miss this?!
-Yup, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night music from Court-lobby and "Courtroom overture"
-The photo was made made by my good friend Ninzo, her Deviantart adress is in the credits.
-Soos: Tower of Mist & Dance of Gold on the YouTube searchbar.
LordIban 11 months ago
@LordIban Replies:
-I hadn't logged in for day or two. And Utube's infobox lags somewhat. It didn't tell enethin...anything (tanks Nahman) until today.
-Great music. I also noticed you used Ace Attorney Investigation's Cornered theme. (19th century cravats FTW!)
-Ninzo, eh? Gotta check her out...her ART, I meant her art...
-Thnx
F1nnM4s0n86 11 months ago
@F1nnM4s0n86 the technical term is INNOCENT until proven guilty, which Phoenix relies on to save most of his cases in the begining. After all, what's the point of defending someone he KNOWS is guilty as sin?
masaruten 11 months ago

BonbonCrystal 1 year ago
@BonbonCrystal Everyone knows Gordon is NOT smart enough to come up with this plan. Neither is Flonne, but she has some "experience". Cap is far too stubborn to be bribed and especially threatened. And if he was, he would be the wrong choice, because Judy would do anything in her power to keep anyone of her withnesses unaccused. Accusation of Flonne took Judy off-guard and grabbed by her arrogance. She thinks that Wright seriously tries to pull "Flonne did it" off, never realising the truth.
Luminethereploid 1 year ago
@Luminethereploid And then their is the fact he wasn't in the hotel at the time of the murder :)
NastyPl0t 1 year ago
@Luminethereploid so i guessing gordon is really dumb or something and what do mean by "experience"?
btw I've only played the phoenix wright games, not the other one so i'm not part of that "everyone" you mentioned, so i couldn't know.
BonbonCrystal 1 year ago
@BonbonCrystal Yep. Gordon is abnormally dumb and Lamington once sent Flonne as an assasin. That was an excuse for a different reason, of course.
Luminethereploid 1 year ago
@Luminethereploid Just thinking here. But the dagger seems like a good tool for assassination right? Doesn't leave fingerprints and all. Well, what are the chances that the killer's randomly chosen weapon would be that? It's mentioned that you'd need to be a pro to identify that ability by sight alone, so the killer must be pretty well-versed in demon weaponry. Meaning it's likely that someone with that knowledge would be connected. Just putting it out there.
narutardkyuubi 11 months ago
@narutardkyuubi To be fair, anyone can break into treasury when people like Gordon are guarding it. I believe i have mentioned that this guy is dumb.
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@Luminethereploid Point conceded. Gordon isn't exactly the most reliable person for that sort of occupation. Well, why would the murderer use the knife though. Sounds like he could've used the spoiled Poison Candy as it would've seemed easier with less investigation, although that's probably because the murderer wants to frame Laharl. Good story
narutardkyuubi 11 months ago
@narutardkyuubi Well, yeah, that's kinda the point. Framing Laharl is the murderer's main goal. That would break the first thoughts of peace between angels and demons, accomplished in the first Disgaea game.(Because if you murder someone's peace ambassador after long history of prior wars no one in his country would want peace with yours) Obviously the racist war-hungry bunch of angels are behind it. My money on CESENESQ.
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@Luminethereploid
I can tell you guys are quite the Ace Attorney fanatics and you have some interesting theories going on. I should have you guys help us with the script, hehe. However, let's just say I have a few things up my sleeve...
LordIban 11 months ago
@LordIban If you would decide that, i will be honored)) I hope to be surprised, wonderful series so far^_^
*damn, i spent all this argument without ever shouting OBJECTION. I am ashamed of myself XD*
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@narutardkyuubi CESENESQ are extremely suspicous dudes. Both races work there, but it serves only for the security of Celestia. The demons working there might be the spies who were drawn by power(with Laharl gone, anyone else can become Overlord), but are used by an angel who wants to ruin Netherworld by forcing an open war and destroying it while the leader is in prison(or death sentenced). Someone close to Lamington is the mastermind, and Judy... is the murderer. Continued in the next post...
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@narutardkyuubi Judy avoids the autopsy at all cost, so yes, the cause of death may not be the knife. Since Wright has two candy-related evidence, it is important. The cause of death was poison candy, delivered with the tea(angel didn't know of it's effect or it was melted into the tea and covered with sugar and the prinnies just didn't notice, due to memory problems). Luckily for the killer, Laharl stole the rest of them, thus making it impossible to notice a single one missing. Continued...
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@narutardkyuubi After that, Judy stabbed the angel with a previously stolen dagger and left him with the ring, stolen as well. Then she returned in whatever the hell the CESENESQ was hanging out at the time and told them to screw the rules. They arrived right after Laharl found the body, just as he says. *epic finger point pose* That is my theory!
Luminethereploid 11 months ago
@Luminethereploid
So Phoenix didn't get the joke near the beginning of the episode about sneaking around the castle but knew about missions Flonne had been sent on? Or did Phoenix actually get the joke after he made it...?
tifforo1 8 months ago
@tifforo1 Nah, he was just doing wild mass guessing to take time for further investigation. I'd frame Judy since i think Judy is the murderer(and somewhere here i posted the whole theory), but hey. Maybe i'm wrong.
