  • why does the judge sound like ace idiot judge? AKA: travolta

  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night...Nice choice of music. ; D

  • I can imagine Phoenix (Or Apollo) going up against a woman who resembled Prava, when Phoenix fainted.

  • 2:58 God I love it when the fourth wall is screwed with.

  • I hate this demon lady >_< shes like all the bad qualities of Godot, Franziska and Manfred von Karma (Well Manfred has no good qualities....) but I have to give you points for a prostecutor that puts up an extreamly good fight (:

  • @SparkleGirlyGal

Why do I feel like she is Franziska's mother?

  • awesomely done! cheers all around! really gotten me quite excited all the way through!

  • 2 years pass and the Phoenix Wright VA is a actually a decent VA.

  • Is Prava a play on Prada? As in, The Devil Wears Prada?

  • @TheBeastBandit

Actually 'prava' is Latin for 'crooked' (at least to my understanding), Judy is derived from the French word "Judicia" for judgement

  • @LordIban

That's actually WAY more fitting than what I thought initially. Especially with the new rules in the court.

  • Damn dude. Your really good story teller and this really does seem like a actual case. You can be a movie producer if you wanted to.

  • lololol Gordon Freeman

  • I am honestly impressed by the person you got to do Etna's voice.

  • OMG Hotel Dusk Room 215 Music! I love you!

  • What's the music from? It sounds pretty cool.

  • Good point though, if he was stabbed in the back by Laharl, then why was his ring in the ambassador's hand? Laharl could've kept it, plus he didn't escape from the crime scene AND the security in the treasury sucks so the ring coul've been stolen by anyone, perhaps by some rebellious angel

  • Wait, the blade doesn't look far in, soo... well, meh. I'll just keep watching.

  • Comment removed

  • This is the greatest PW spin off ever! I can't wait till the next episode!

  • Haha I love the "HOLD IT" after every sentence. It captures how odd it would seem in context if Phoenix did press every sentence.

Though I must say, this is an amazingly well crafted spin-off of Phoenix Wright and Disgaea. Keep up the good work!

  • These are really good! They capture how the PW and Disgaea games go and the humour is fantastic.

  • 17:00

    Strenght...

    Strength*

  • good job,i hope the next episode will coming soon^^

  • Wrote it on 13:00

  • For noobs its Flonne

  • i dont play the PW series , but the disgaea was one of my favorites, and i must say ,this is realay great keep the good work

PS-the frist episode was full of explanation of disgaea so. why you no explain the fact tha laharal was 1313 yeas old? only a question

  • You are planing on doing more soon right. I like it so fare. hope episode 4 is out soon.

  • Is that the castlevania moon at 00:39?

  • Awwwwwwwwe wrong abckground music for testimonies :( Wait 12:17 AM??? HOLD IT! The witness just contradicted herself! xD

  • K....Kansas!? OBJECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That shit was INTENSE YO! Had me leaning into my computer screen ahaha.

  • Nice, Last Window music. I might revisit this when I have time.

  • @ProgrammingProdigy

The last two episodes sit almost completed on my computer. Thing is, I can't do any more work until people send me their voices and some artwork. So there. If I had them, I would dare say both episodes would be out this month.

  • ORDER! ORDER! ORDER IN THE COURT!

  • The Phrase "that ring is so precious to you" sounds so familiar

  • when will the next one be out?

  • @GoldenRubyFlame

    Sooner than you think *Grin*

  • @GoldenRubyFlame they released the next episode a few days ago

  • HOORAY! It's the judge from Ace Idiot! I fucking love that version of the judge. :D

  • This reminds me of chaos wars voice acting

  • when is the next part

  • when will the next one be uploaded?

  • "In the dead ambassadors...first."

That typo is suggestive as all get out.

  • LOL. Flonne, your too much, just TOO MUCH.

8:53 um, wizard of oz refrence? lol?

14:13 thats what I say when i'm a demon and I have some soda with me..lol?

18:16 NOW you speak up? NOW?!? Well, it has to be fake!

    18:36 OMG LOL!!!

    19:17 *face-palm*

    20:58 dood! MUSICAL EPICNESS!

    -------------

Cant wait for the next episode dood!

  • There is no proof the ambassador is dead!!!!

The ONLY evidence of his death is the photo at 10:20, in which you can't see his face. That could be someone else, or it could be a scarecrow with a wig and wings glued to it and red tea spilled on its back. The ambassador could have been kidnapped or murdered in another location. Most probably, he could have faked his death. After all, he apparently volunteered for the mission and called Laharl out to the hotel. He could be a conspirator.

  • @tifforo1 You can be right. Except faking death part since Laharl clearly saw a stabbed angel.

  • @Luminethereploid

In "Phoenix Wright: Devil's Attorney - Episode 2 (2/2)" starting at about 7:03, Laharl says "I went inside and then I saw the dead ambassador, who had been stabbed in the back. I was just about to leave and contact the Celestian authorites about the incident... when that woman and her group of goons came out from nowhere and arrested me." However, he doesn't explain how he knew it was the dead ambassador. He may have assumed based on whose room it was.

  • @tifforo1 I know. I didn't say he saw that angel outright dead, just stabbed. Most people die when they are stabbed in the back. Even angels.

  • As much as I'm really, REALLY suspicious of Judy and Cesenesq, I have some evidence that Judy isn't the killer.

First, why didn't she just lie and say that she saw Laharl stab the victim? Maybe the other members of her security team are more honest than she is, but short of that, nothing stops her from saying that.

Two, Flonne and Laharl's statements indicate that her team arrived at the hotel after Laharl had eaten the candy and that Judy got to the room after Laharl did.

  • @tifforo1 OBJECTION! About your evidence. Her team saw it too and there is a probability of getting the truth out of them, and something as cruical as witnessing the murder will imstantly cast suspicion on her if discovered that she lied. Plus, it was unnesesary. Truth is a powerful weapon. And yes, Judy did enter the room after Laharl did. But for the SECOND time where the murder has already taken place. Prinny Day means no security, which lets her getting there unseen by any other time.

  • Okay, my very broad list of suspects would be:

    Everyone in Cesenesq, especially Judy

Everyone who was at the hotel (except maybe Flonne) - manager, prinnies.

Everyone on the Celestian Council who could have forged the seal on the letter from the vicim or heard about its existence

Everyone who had access to the castle to steal the knife, ring, and/or letter

The angel who broke into the castle

Any political rivals of Laharl (Dark Assembly) or Lamington

    Anyone wearing black robes

  • 8:25

"Lex Demonica #1: 'Before the Court of the Netherworld, the defendant is guilty until someone else is proven guilty.'"

Phoenix: Hey, that's exactly how it worked in all the other trials I was in too!

  • Why didn't Phoenix express surprise that he was picked by Lamington? That wasn't mentioned in the previous episodes, was it?

  • @tifforo1 No, it wasn't. However, you can only cram in so much dialogue that works smoothly together :3 So kind of a narrative choice.

  • What about that one angel from last episode who tried to bribe Phoenix? Why wasn't he accused?

  • Unless the culprit is a she in which case he'd put HER on the spot...hmmm nah.

  • You know, I think I see a potential loophole here. All the system that supposedly works against wright is, is a way of making him look bad.

A way for him to WIN as well.

Suppose the real culprit just wouldn't go down yes?

Wright could put HIM in the defendant's spot and refuse to defend him, and Lharal could use his authority to send wright back.

  • @mattwo7 Whats funny is Wright could put Prava on the defendant's spot. Considering that they raided the castle and wouldn't allow Wright to search for evidence he could claim that she stole the ring during the raid to forge evidence.

  • Obstruct....wasn't Prava obstructing justice by not letting wright investigate? -.-

  • @mattwo7 Nope, not according to the letter she got from the board. She was free to kick him out as she saw fit.

  • @midnightthrow So in other words she got the o.k. to break the law? That is a really lousy system.

  • @mattwo7 *Shrugs* That's THEIR justice system, to take from the Judge. the system is not ours to dispute. The power...really does seem to lie with thep prosecution here, evern more-so than the games makes it up to be.

  • I think I might know who is the real culpirt. I am thinking that it might be Judy herself! Why else is she so admant for a conviction?! Also, why else would she refuse Phoenix to look for evidence?

  • @ZacktheMidBoss Agreed.

  • 10:37

    *Deduces*

    *Presents Edgeworth's Hold it*

    ERUKIA

    That Was Edegworth's Hold it!

    Not Phoenix's Hold it!

So This Proves That Edgeworth Is NOT phoenix!

  • great, i love this episode rofl!!

  • Bah, it's clear that the prosecutor did it!

  • @alaras I just thought the same thing.

  • This is pretty good (Though some voices need work, just saying...), and I can't wait for the next episode. Also, a thought occurs. Will Phoenix run into any Prinny versions of people he's met on Earth? Like the 'God of Prosecuting' Manfred Von Karma, or his ex-girlfriend Dahlia Hawthorn? After all, they lived sinful lives...why shouldn't they be Prinnies...?

  • @Cybertoy00 Yeah, Good Idea!

  • when will the next episode be made? i m bored waiting!!!!

  • 20:45 I thought that he'd say, But that's the best part.

  • great episode! and was that travolta3335 as the judge?

  • @wienkmaster

Yes - yes it was as you can tell by the opening credits.

  • @wienkmaster yea.. look at the intro credits

  • have you ever thought of doing a machinima with a console game like halo or CoD

  • i found something odd on her tetimony she said that the embassador has open the door for him but he was stabbed on its back and there was no fingerprints on the corpse and stuff.

  • The curling championship.Hehehe. XD

  • what is the deadline for ep. 4?

(i'm probably gonna get so much shit from this by trollers)

  • @sonicblasteromega99

There's no deadline yet, but I'm going to say it'll take a month or two still - need to get some things sorted out of the way first. The final episode(s) will be published more quickly, I hope.

  • @LordIban that's understandable.

  • @LordIban

you're not gonna make it are you?

  • @Raximus3000

I am and indeed I have the final episode scripted. There have been other, more pressing matters like moving to a new city and all the related paperwork that have kept me busy (as well as helping out with Phoenix Wrong: The Movie's sequel. I will make it my mission to finish the script for EP4 in the next couple of days, after I've done settling in my new apartment.

  • "GORDAN!!!" why do i think of gordan freeman in that scene?

  • This was pretty good. The story is getting really interesting. Btw, is some of the courtroom music from Hotel Dusk? It sounds familiar.

  • @Twylyght2020

Yep. From Dusk and Last Window

  • @LordIban That's pretty cool. Thank you.

  • I think that Judy is the best actor of them all. Her role in the movie, tone of voice, way she talks. all of it just fits so beautifully.

  • loved ep3!gotta to say 11 million outta 10

  • Phoenix's voice acting has improved *greatly* still some stumbling though, but not detracting from the experience.

Judy's acting is pro. Props to her.

All in all, this is a very neat production. The fact that you manage to combine Disgaea and Phoenix Wright still is mind blowing.

  • 16:57 spelling fail indeed!

  • Facinating, amazing perfomance and great details of spriting. Love it. ^v^

  • If Judy didn't do it she had to have been an accomplice at least.

  • i hope part 4 comes out soon. tis is too awesome.

  • What was with eggy's objection? ...Haters, edgeworth WASN'T KILLED.

  • Not to sound stupid or anything like that, but is the design for the judge from a game already? It looks Miles Edgeworth Investigation-ish. Can someone tell me that maybe ^^* Also, awesome work on the series, keep up the awesome work.

  • @WingmanVWXYZ Your intuition is correct! It is indeed from Ace Attorney Investigations, you haven't got it yet? >:0

Also, thanks for the praise. Me and everyone else work hard in making these episodes for you all! ^^

  • @LordIban It didn't reach the Netherlands. Not even Europe in general. Which means I need to save up money and hope that my neighbours can buy it ^^*

Oh, and we can wait ^^

These episodes really are awesome work. So I think me and pretty much everyone else can't wait for the next episode. I wonder what happens. And how dare you accuse Flonne Phoenix T_T

    Flonne is too cute T_T

  • @WingmanVWXYZ I'd like to place an objection right here as according to Wikipedia, the European release was on 9th of February 2010. Also, one of my friends bought a copy from a retail store, straight off the shelf all the way here in Northern Europe. I have no idea why they wouldn't ship to the Netherlands! o.0

  • @LordIban I have absolutely no clue either. Also, not to sound pushy or anything, or ask too much, but do you still need some voice actors? If so, I'll gladly help ^^

  • @WingmanVWXYZ

Currently now, but I'll have another casting call if and when I need more.

  • Maya SERIOUSLY needs to be in this series!!! Make it happen!

  • I hope to see the next one soon this is so addicting!

  • Lex Demonica #2 once you have charged someone in place of the defendant you cannot change back the accusation.

I have a feeling that would be the next.

  • Is the Judge the guy from Ace Idiot?

  • @Yodio12 For not knowing Travolta3335 by name, YOU LOSE THE INTERNET.

  • Judy reminds me of someone...*ahem*VonKarma*ahem*

  • Wow, Judy is a real f**king bitch, isn't she?

  • when is the next one will be up!!?XD

  • This is a very nice series so far, the plot is good, nice voice acting and good music to fit in with the parts.

The only think that bothers me is that once it was over, I was searching the video for the song names at the credits in the beginning, only to see names of people appear in the music part of the credits because I was wondering what music was played at 17:53.

I'm sorry if somebody already asked before, but I checked the other comments and could not find what it was called.

  • @Bloodiccc

That's Planet X, from the Disgaea: Hour of Darkness OST. Enjoy ^^ I do appreciate you going through the trouble of being polite about asking.

  • This is very well put together! I hope to see more soon!

  • Wow. That's really hard and the prosecutor is major bully!

  • Wait a second!! The prosecution calls HERSELF to the stand???!!!!

    Is that legal??

And yet We're in the netherworld.....

  • Gorden is the Gumshoe of the Underworld.

  • So when are you guys going to episode four I like to see Judies face when she lose

to Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney in court and also Hail to the three members of disgae

especially uh flonne, etna, and even laharl I would like to have them in my slideshow

Oops I guess I already have them oh well keep up making more Phoenix wrights ok..

  • wait... How did you manage to misspell "strength" at 16:56? (sorry about the double commenting)

  • @Jaworthofawesomeness To answer your question: I wrote all the textboxes in one day and seems that out of the entire script I got the positions of two letters reversed . I'm actually amazed that there aren't that many other typoes!

  • Thumbs up if you think that prosecutor with the nasty attitude did it.

  • WHY AM I ONLY WHATCHING THIS NOW. THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR NOT CHEACKING MY EMAIL FOR A BAJILION WEEKS. and it didnt show up in my sub box either...

    bah.

    ANYWAY.

    PFFT YAY.

    epic beginnging is EPIC.

oh, oh, and i love the judge's voice :))

and and and i hafta say etna and laharl's voice actor/esses are AMAZING. theyve got SUCH good emotion - something i can see i was lacking a bit in a few parts here :)

  • i would love to see judy in a disgaea

  • The music is superb

  • besides. Nick had the right idea i'm betting with not flowing with the assumption the knife was the murder weapon. think back to the exploding tea. it wasn't ever said if the tea the staff made was delivered. if it hadn't, what if the ambassador had been delivered tea somehow anyway? that means it would be highly likely the murder weapon was a toxin. also, so obvious the cloaked angel is gonna be a trump card later on. sooo obvious.

  • ...he accused Flonne?...FLONNE?! ARE YOU NUTS?! LAHARL'S GONNA KILL YOU IF SHE'S FOUND GUILTY! good move, but waaaay to risky. plus, Laharl's probably pissed now. besides. i suspect one of the 'dumb' prinnies, anyway. its called 'pretending to be idiots'.

  • "Why that arrogant prosecutor! I should hold her in contempt of court!"

    ...

Judgie, you let a bad Darth Vader clone tell you to screw off, and didn't even object when that German prosecutor literally whipped you every time you called for order.

  • Wow! I can't believe I almost missed this! First The God-Emperor of Nerdkind reviews ROB and now Ace attorney vs Disgaea ep. 3 comes? Half an HOUR of great quality fanfic. And is that castlevania music I hear at the lobby part?

"Guilty unless someone else is proven guilty." Why did Nick object to THAT. It's really not any different from his world.

Oh and those are very nice photos. Who made them?

And the Voices fit perfectly to the characters.

Oh and the music sauce please.

  • @F1nnM4s0n86 To answer your questions:

-How did you manage to miss this?!

-Yup, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night music from Court-lobby and "Courtroom overture"

-The photo was made made by my good friend Ninzo, her Deviantart adress is in the credits.

-Soos: Tower of Mist & Dance of Gold on the YouTube searchbar.

  • @LordIban Replies:

-I hadn't logged in for day or two. And Utube's infobox lags somewhat. It didn't tell enethin...anything (tanks Nahman) until today.

-Great music. I also noticed you used Ace Attorney Investigation's Cornered theme. (19th century cravats FTW!)

-Ninzo, eh? Gotta check her out...her ART, I meant her art...

    -Thnx

  • @F1nnM4s0n86 the technical term is INNOCENT until proven guilty, which Phoenix relies on to save most of his cases in the begining. After all, what's the point of defending someone he KNOWS is guilty as sin?

  • @masaruten Have you played Ace Attorney? In there, court goes like this:

Judge: "So, the defence has proven that the witness was around there at the time of death and he had an access to potential murder weapon. What about the motive?"

    Phoenix: "I...couldn't find any motive."

Judge: "I see." *penalty* "I think we've seen enough. I'm afraid I can't allow the defence to go any further. This court finds suspect GUILTY." etc.

Speaking of defending guilty, SPOILER Matt /SPOILER.

  • Really well done. i felt like i was watching a playthrough of an actual phoenix wright game!

  • What a twist!!!!

  • 8:30 It ain't like it isn't the same in his world....

  • Haha! I knew it was right to subscribe to you! And I don't regret it!

  • It would've made more sense blame that captain gordon guy. He had access to the treasury and everything in it, he took ALL that time to finally say the ring was stolen, and he was Judy's witness who could've been bribed or threatened or something, and since he works at the castle he could've just walked to the armoury when no one was looking and take the dagger, sneak in to the hotel, kill the ambassador, and put the ring in his hand.(not to mention that blaming Flonne is just plain wrong)

  • @BonbonCrystal Everyone knows Gordon is NOT smart enough to come up with this plan. Neither is Flonne, but she has some "experience". Cap is far too stubborn to be bribed and especially threatened. And if he was, he would be the wrong choice, because Judy would do anything in her power to keep anyone of her withnesses unaccused. Accusation of Flonne took Judy off-guard and grabbed by her arrogance. She thinks that Wright seriously tries to pull "Flonne did it" off, never realising the truth.

  • @Luminethereploid And then their is the fact he wasn't in the hotel at the time of the murder :)

  • @Luminethereploid so i guessing gordon is really dumb or something and what do mean by "experience"?

btw I've only played the phoenix wright games, not the other one so i'm not part of that "everyone" you mentioned, so i couldn't know.

  • @BonbonCrystal Yep. Gordon is abnormally dumb and Lamington once sent Flonne as an assasin. That was an excuse for a different reason, of course.

  • @Luminethereploid Just thinking here. But the dagger seems like a good tool for assassination right? Doesn't leave fingerprints and all. Well, what are the chances that the killer's randomly chosen weapon would be that? It's mentioned that you'd need to be a pro to identify that ability by sight alone, so the killer must be pretty well-versed in demon weaponry. Meaning it's likely that someone with that knowledge would be connected. Just putting it out there.

  • @narutardkyuubi To be fair, anyone can break into treasury when people like Gordon are guarding it. I believe i have mentioned that this guy is dumb.

  • @Luminethereploid Point conceded. Gordon isn't exactly the most reliable person for that sort of occupation. Well, why would the murderer use the knife though. Sounds like he could've used the spoiled Poison Candy as it would've seemed easier with less investigation, although that's probably because the murderer wants to frame Laharl. Good story

  • @narutardkyuubi Well, yeah, that's kinda the point. Framing Laharl is the murderer's main goal. That would break the first thoughts of peace between angels and demons, accomplished in the first Disgaea game.(Because if you murder someone's peace ambassador after long history of prior wars no one in his country would want peace with yours) Obviously the racist war-hungry bunch of angels are behind it. My money on CESENESQ.

  • @Luminethereploid

I can tell you guys are quite the Ace Attorney fanatics and you have some interesting theories going on. I should have you guys help us with the script, hehe. However, let's just say I have a few things up my sleeve...

  • @LordIban If you would decide that, i will be honored)) I hope to be surprised, wonderful series so far^_^

*damn, i spent all this argument without ever shouting OBJECTION. I am ashamed of myself XD*

  • @narutardkyuubi CESENESQ are extremely suspicous dudes. Both races work there, but it serves only for the security of Celestia. The demons working there might be the spies who were drawn by power(with Laharl gone, anyone else can become Overlord), but are used by an angel who wants to ruin Netherworld by forcing an open war and destroying it while the leader is in prison(or death sentenced). Someone close to Lamington is the mastermind, and Judy... is the murderer. Continued in the next post...

  • @narutardkyuubi Judy avoids the autopsy at all cost, so yes, the cause of death may not be the knife. Since Wright has two candy-related evidence, it is important. The cause of death was poison candy, delivered with the tea(angel didn't know of it's effect or it was melted into the tea and covered with sugar and the prinnies just didn't notice, due to memory problems). Luckily for the killer, Laharl stole the rest of them, thus making it impossible to notice a single one missing. Continued...

  • @narutardkyuubi After that, Judy stabbed the angel with a previously stolen dagger and left him with the ring, stolen as well. Then she returned in whatever the hell the CESENESQ was hanging out at the time and told them to screw the rules. They arrived right after Laharl found the body, just as he says. *epic finger point pose* That is my theory!

  • @Luminethereploid

So Phoenix didn't get the joke near the beginning of the episode about sneaking around the castle but knew about missions Flonne had been sent on? Or did Phoenix actually get the joke after he made it...?

  • @tifforo1 Nah, he was just doing wild mass guessing to take time for further investigation. I'd frame Judy since i think Judy is the murderer(and somewhere here i posted the whole theory), but hey. Maybe i'm wrong.

  • Nice! You guys improved alot too and same goes for the BGM, love it! :D

  • WOW, good job plz keep it upXD

  • Excellent episode. Volty as the Judge is lol-worthy as always. :)

And whoa, I used to know the guy who does Phoenix's voice. Small world.

  • @CrazedNinja

    Small world indeed. ^.^

  • Wonderful job! I can't wait to see how this turns out XD

  • good to see you keeping up the improvementpace, getting better and better ^^

  • Flonne?... ok, i just hope Phoenix don´t screw up this, or Laharl is going to kill him

  • Nice.

  • Captain Gordon, the new Dick Gumshoe

  • Nice opening with Lamington

  • Iban, once you find an episode with Godot in it, poke me.

  • I WAS WAITING FOR THIS LIKE FOREVER

  • Phoenix: "How did you end up here, your honor?" <--- He's dead. it is the only good reason, right?

anyway... I love a lot of these voice actors... especially Etnas voice is nice to listen to. Great job again, masters. ^w^

  • i know this is going to sound stupid but I say the winded bitch did it that is trying to put our awesome overlord away for his whole demon life. yeah i said, don't care what happens next. XD

  • This series is awesome, I love it as much as the games! :D

  • THX LORD IBAN!!!!! FINALLLLLYYY

  • teriyaki-pizza...

    EWWWWWWW

  • @RealDeathstrikeable Don't knock it before you try it.

  • @tsurugikage imagine the teriyaki, imagine it on the pizza... would you try it??
