The beginning of this was some of the WWF's best creative work ever. Think of it this way, this night would end up being the second to last time the WWF would lose the ratings war (although it was the 3rd week in a row they lost).
Man the Stone Cold/McMahon rivalry was just too much for WCW to overcome I guess.

I have no idea but it is an awesome theme. It brings chills to me whenever i hear it. That theme was preety much used from 98-02 in the attitude era. You know, back when wwe was actually good and not boring like today...

The beginning of this was some of the WWF's best creative work ever. Think of it this way, this night would end up being the second to last time the WWF would lose the ratings war (although it was the 3rd week in a row they lost).
Man the Stone Cold/McMahon rivalry was just too much for WCW to overcome I guess.
But either way, look at the intensity in this crowd, this is simply the peak of Pro Wrestling.

Stone Cold/McMahon was getting to lame that fans was booing Vince and booing Austin, by 2000-2003 Austin was officially dead, but when Hogan came back he instantly took all the attention from austin and rock. Hogan >>> Rustin and Rock

lol, I remember this night, it was late September of 1998. I live in Rochester and I was actually at Nitro that night (which obviously was in Rochester). But I taped this and watched this when I came home. Boy these were the peak days of the Monday Night Wars.

yh thats for al snow, because in ECW he used to come out with a manachin head and talk to it, and once all the fans were given one and everyone in the ECW arena was dancing with it. They used to have "give me head" signs everyweek on ecw

I will never forget this episode of Raw. I was a huge and still am a Stone Cold Fan. when I saw vince come out to Austin's music I was pissed off. But I was always told patience was a virtue, and they were right, Vince got the crap beat out of him for 30 secs. And what made it so funny was Undertaker & Kane didn't do a damn thing to help vince.

yea but WWE got battered by tv companys for there content and evetually watered it down.Plus the company was independantly owned at that time now its gone public Vince has share holders to answear to so he had to change the content.Plus lack of competition has kind of made them complacent.
