This should be a clue that there is something dangerous happening that they are trying to take care of and you being in their face is their last concern. I'm a copwatcher, and I don't think of it as being like jounalism overall. I see it as more of a direct action. I've talked to dozens of people who told me that after we showed up with cameras police became less aggressive and in some cases released people from illegal detentions. So the point is to help people just through creating the most basic accountability.
