Why are so many people ripping guitar hero? It is just another way for current & potentially new fans to experience what In Flames is all about. Some people aren't as instrumentally gifted, but would like to experience music in similar form. Guitar Hero and Real instruments aren't enemies it is just another avenue to experience music.

In Flames is easier to play on guitar than it is on Guitar Hero.
While Guitar Hero is a far cry away from actually playing an instrument, if it has gotten people to start playing guitar, that is always a good thing. Now that they are soon going to be releasing a guitar game that actually uses a real guitar, we could see a lot more good axesmiths around, which is nice. Now if only there were more drummers in the world.

@aestusmaris this is simply unrealistic. you probably cannot play any guitar pretending stuff like that... all you have to do in guitar hero is press one of the 4 or 5 buttons in the right moment, while looking at the pointers on screen. playing a real guitar you have to imagine the right moment (instead of looking at it on the screen) while you have to press and/or pick the right string with the right measure of sensation, on the right spot of the string to make it sound right.
@godmode86 I don't think you're using the word pretend correctly, and there's no point in me lying about it, and if you're only pressing one button at a time then you're still playing on easy difficulty, which of course is much easier, I'm talking very hard setting.
I find GH a stiff game, while playing guitar is more relaxed and requires less effort to alternate pick notes. Your obvious difficulty in believing playing metal on guitar can be easy suggests either you've never played or you suck

Yeah, GH2 is my personal favorite as well. But I believe that certain aspects of GH3, such as the varied, larger, and very well balanced setlist, make it much more definitive in terms of the series. But yeah, GH2 was really awesome. Less Talk More Rokk rules.
i LOVE all the In Flames Albums. The only one that I don't likr to much would be A Sense of Purpose. Its ok. Clayman Jester Race Whoracle Colony Come Clairity Soundtrack to your Escape Reroute to Remain Lunar Strain Subbterean are all awesome
i remember back in the days of napster, in flames was sooo damn hard to get, almost impossible, and back when you're a poor school kid, you only dream of having millions of cds... I thank In Flames, and At the Gates for making such kick ass music, back when everyone was banging it to korn, and other mainstream shit.
They really are not all that famous and hyped, I know what you mean though, like their appearance on Guitar Hero and stuff, but it is a little depressing I will admit..
I think Anders had his best vocal appereance on that album. His vocals are technical much better than on TJR and Whoracle and on Clayman he started to use more "weaker" vocals.
There isn't one in flames album I dislike.. But a sense of purpose is the one I like least, it's not bad though. Every other album is plain awesome imo.

No, they don't. GH is one of the greatest rhythm game franchises ever, and Guitar Hero III is one of the very greatest rhythm games.

Yeah, GH2 is my personal favorite as well. But I believe that certain aspects of GH3, such as the varied, larger, and very well balanced setlist, make it much more definitive in terms of the series. But yeah, GH2 was really awesome. Less Talk More Rokk rules.

I think Anders had his best vocal appereance on that album. His vocals are technical much better than on TJR and Whoracle and on Clayman he started to use more "weaker" vocals.

There isn't one in flames album I dislike.. But a sense of purpose is the one I like least, it's not bad though. Every other album is plain awesome imo.

I get alot of shit from In Flames fans for liking Reroute to Remain the most, too bad, it is a great record. But Clayman and Colony seem so good compared to SOundtrack. I think I gave SOundtrack away, did anyone else not like it? ANyway, this is good.
