Also, apart from all of the major hints (the number of wives, the money/power he has, how charming he is, the fact that he's into 'thrills,' & his getting close to Lisbon in order to later hurt her because he knows she's dear to Jane) did anyone else notice that he also wears A LOT of red? His shirts, in nearly all of the episodes he's been in so far, are always red.

He/she is really annoying me with all the comments about Mashburn being Red John and Jane & Lisbon being brother& sister. Yeah yeah we get it. and if you don't like Lisbon don't watch the show. Obviously she's awesome and hot.

Mashburn was such a great character and I really like the actor too. The writers gave him some great stuff to work with, that "damaged intensity" line plus "enough to know better" makes him very intriguing. Plus he and Jane has so much fun in this episode, and it was funny seeing lisbons reaction to being courted. This was really such a great episode and I do hope they repose the character in season 3.

@Danni1351 LIsbon´s feelings for Jane are between brotherly/sisterly love and romantic love, there is no LOVE as we want it. Same for Patrick. He was interested in Kristina. But maybe it is Lisbon who loves Jane more than Jane actually loves her. Jane is still being faithful to his wife.
