What's your feminism?

So in short, where do feminists stand on mens legal and social and employment rights?Where do they stand on father's, and the need for positive male role models for boys?Will feminism ever become humanism? Do you think ALL gender differences are social constructs? Did you realise the pay gap is just an average across genders and not a job-for-job comparison and that the gap is caused by different career choices and not discrimination?Is this just furthering the wants of white middle class women?

I fail to see the need for positive discrimination either. For example, the majority of vets, massage therapists, childminders, teachers, dental hygeinists, and a whole load of other industries workers (reeling off facts from memory so not many examples) are female, yet there is no clamouring to get men into these industries. Yet at the same time there are arbitrary quotas enforced on organisations to ensure they employ a percentage of females, REGARDLESS AS TO THE NUMBER THAT APPLY.

just a couple more things cos I would like a feminist response. So over here women have better access to education than men. The next thing that riles me somewhat is the fact that women have more legal rights than men. For example, if a womans husband dies over here they get a state handout. If a mans wife dies, nothing. There are like 12 or so extra state benefits for _just_ women and women get 20 grand more (on avergae) than men whilst men pay in 11 grand more (on average) into the system...

I used to think feminism was about equality, but it isn't. It's actually about female superioirty. Either that, or your cause got hijacked by fundamentalists. In the UK, we have bodies set up to monitor and encourage girls in schools. Not boys. Just girls.Girls do better than boys at school, there are more female degrees, more female PHD's. Tell me, if it's about equality, why is there nothing for boys? I am becoming increasingly skeptical of WESTERN feminism. Go east, that's where its needed!

Also, all the issues you are talking about are being fought for by modern feminists, old school feminists are conservatives, they think of things in a man-hating perspective, but maybe that extremism is needed to achieve some kind of equality so that in the future modern feminism will fight against unequal laws against men so that full equality can be achieved.
