This scene for them sooo had to be hard :( they spent 5 years "in love" and seems like it woould be impossible to have had the chemistry they did without off the camera affection and more. @MrsHolliValo Gale and Randy are still very good friends. They went on to work together again several times in stage productions off broadway. They never really had to say goodbye. And from my understanding they were both very much in favor of the show ending and in fact were part of the reason everyone's contract got renegotiated to 5 seasons and not 6. I'm sure it was hard but they were both done with it at this point.

@elphbwckd really? thats interesting. the show was amazing! i remember the first time i came across it. i was at a friends house babysitting, and the show came on once they were all asleep. got hooked right away. even as a straight woman, this show was sooo good. u didnt have to be gay or lesbian to fall in love with it. i recall crying most of the last 4 episodes of season 5. from the bike ride, to the bomb at babylon, to the house search, almost wedding, and finally that scene.

As beautiful as this is... and it's absolutely beautiful... I still prefer Ambition with this scene more. If I'd never heard it with Ambition, this would have been a perfect song to use. The emotion Ambition elicits within me on the first note, ever since I heard it while watching the scene, always gives me shivers. It's just one of those things you don't forget.
