@rodneybunkley It's not that often you hear a rendition that sounds better than the original.No,it's not the blue-eyed,pale face,soul singing,one-hit wonder Bobby Caldwell....BUT,this brother does the song justice & b4 you it stand on your opinion that his remake sounds ugly,listen to him perform it on New York Undercover and then get back with me.This is hands down one of the best episodes of NYU,featuring Ice T & Montel's performance made it a classic

That's a bit of a cheesy version to me. Doesn't really move me. Don't like the rhythm section and the horns. It sounds like he's trying too hard to make it sound emotional and/or sexy. Not bad but not a memorable version of this amazing song.
