  • Egwugwu, men you are great. You took back many many years ago as a teen after the civil war. I kind of feel sorry for those guys many of whom died penniless. These days, they will all be millionaires. I had to peep at them getting down at Tourist Hotel, Uwani Enugu cause I was so young to hit the dance floor. Thanks for the memories men.

  • THANK U VERY MUCH EGWUWU...

Also, I have ben looking for a song with these lyrics:

"You are my sunshine, my sweet and honey girl.

You are my sunshine, my sweet and honey girl.

I will always say that Im in love with you.

But since u dnt love me, there's not much I can do.

I only hope and pray, that you will change your mind".

    Chorus:

"Please Darling, my lover, oh baby.

I love you. I will never let you go."

  • Egwugwu why only one track from founders 17. I must not forget to thank you 4 the soul you have risen. I know what they did to me when i went home to tape these songs. (1) i could not find it, theives were everywhere selling cassets without songs making a lot of stories. (2) fake promieses from relatives i will, i will just see what you have done for me and those interested. I love muzic.

  • Mazi Egwugwu, your effort is highly commendable and deeply appreciated. this is the much I can say knowing how we humans quickly forget the hard work of people who led and opened up avenues for the younger ones. your efforts in bringing these numbers to us through this medium can't be quantified in monentry terms. may you live long. i greet you.

  • I am putting a lot of songs together for posting as far as naiija pop songs of the seventies are concerned.I mean a lot from my collection.

  • Fellows, there is actually a track by Founders 15 in Igbo. I think if am not mistaken, it is titlled ANYI GA ENWE MMERI. I have to dig into my albums to double check this.

  • Dammit, I've been looking for this song for over three years now!!!!!

  • I can't recall any Foundars songs in Igbo, which is not to say that they don't exist, though...

I'll post some Iyke Peters later this week (maybe even tomorrow if get a chance).

  • Foundars 15 released a couple of albums: We Are Foundars 15, Cooperation, Practical Lover and many singles, including this one which was the flip side of the funky "I Can't Be Satisfied" (which the Funkees recorded an alternate version of).

I have all Iyke Peters solo albums btw... I've been meaning to post them for a while.

  • It amazes me how you know about almost every nigerian musician! I have never heard any of Iyke Peters solo stuff, and I've also been wondering if Founders 15 released any music in Igbo?

  • Oh wait... Did I say they had an album called We Are Foundars 15? The album is actually called We're On the Move, though there's a song on there called "We Are Foundars 15"

  • Please, I will REALLY appreciate it if u can post it...Ive been looking for his music fo 15 years

  • ummm... well, i guess you can check my blog next week. it probably won't be this week.

  • thanks my brother...i appreciate it...god bless u
