The little girl imagines a glorious river with Ruby red flowers. She closes her eyes and everything vanished before she relised the that the dreadful memory drept of her dreams. The tips of her finger turned black her eyes started to water when all she could think this was her last picture of the real world. The Trees turned black with the leaves falling from the tips of the tree. The flowers dwelted over the dry land the once was a river. All her dreams were gone.
the picture makes me sad, makes me remember how differently we treat someone when there old but there still the same. Still the person who wants to dance, wants to live, can perform a masterpiece....
I feel like in another silent hill game it would be amazing if the game started with somebody waking up in the hotel, with the music box playing this song.
When I hear this, I imagine myself the old Russian palace. Faint images of people dancing through out the ball room. I look down and I'm in a beautiful gown, Being asked to dance by a handsome boy. Then, in a flash it all disappears, and I stand alone in the middle of the old, dark, abandoned Ball room, that was once filled with light dancing, music, and joy. Now, it's a dark empty reminder of a tradgity that happened long ago...

Really I get the image of riding on a carousel over and over and over again, never able to get off and not really wanting to. Almost like waiting for someone to come and take you away. I see it in the middle of an old abandoned circus, and the carousel is the brightest thing ever. But then I also think of dancing, just me, dancing alone, in a dream-like state.
This image is such a haunting commentary on age and loneliness and the mind. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Paired off with this song makes you feel their secret, inner pain.
@SackLBP2 Disclaimer: Silent Hill 2 nor any of the others come close to the best survival horror game. Resident Evil is the master of that genre, although I do like myself some silent hill.
There is nothing scary about Resident Evil. At all. 4 and 5 were laughable, and the others were a resounding 'meh' in the scares department. And even then only for the OOGA BOOGA factor, not psychological, frightening tension like Silent Hill 2.
@WalkerOfTheWastes I'll agree that in scares 4 & 5 are laughable but 1-code veronica are so much more than ooga booga. Silent Hill is too gimmicky after playing the game for 10 minutes the strange random sounds and visuals lose their punch and weight and then just becomes a game that tries too hard and lose sight of being a "game".
@zorob5 I played both, at night and in the dark, and I nearly fell asleep. Silent Hill 2 made me near shit myself, even during the day. The first time I played it I only played it for an hour, before I put it down and didn't restart for two or so weeks.
It all depends on what scares you I suppose, but monsters of the mind, atmospheric music and insanity scare me far more than monsters of the outside, gore and death.

Each game has a plot revolving around a character who is drawn to the town of Silent Hill and why they're there. The best ones are 1 - 3.

For example, I, when I listen to this song, imagine I'm walking in a house deep in the woods and all of a sudden, in the main lobby, all dark, this song starts out of nowhere. @HolyFire1717 Okay, it's about this dude named James who gets a letter from his dead wife, Mary telling him that she's waiting for him at this town called Silent Hill at their "special place." So, James goes there to see if his wife (who died from a disease) is really waiting for him there, only to discover that the town has entered a hellish state and is overrun by monsters. I don't want to tell you the moral for fear of giving the twist ending away. You should really check it out.

The music boxes, with 3 fairy tales(snowwhite,cinderella,mermaid), implies the love story of James and Mary is also a fairy tale, but it's black fairy. The melody is quite chilling. The 3 stories had shared some meanings related to the story of James & Mary. e.g. "snowwhite woke up from death", "cinderella turn sour note to sweet", and "even so, I think she's still happy".
adore this song. Haunting and pretty. A demon waltz is how i think of it. or a haunting lullaby. beautiful but has tiny twist of creepiness to it. I luv this song so much, it actually soothes me.

@TearsofWolves thx alot i really want to get the game now! hey is there other games i can ask about i really like panic games but i cant find any good ones anymore. ive already played the two best ones which were Haunting Grounds and Clock tower 1,2,and 3. if u have anymore games tell me and if u havent played these two games, YOU SHOULD i highly recommend it. k thx i think ill enjoy playing the game. and also there is a movie too ive heard

The music boxes, with 3 fairy tales(snowwhite,cinderella,mermaid), implies the love story of James and Mary is also a fairy tale, but it's black fairy. The melody is quite chilling. The 3 stories had shared some meanings related to the story of James & Mary. e.g. "snowwhite woke up from death", "cinderella turn sour note to sweet", and "even so, I think she's still happy".

for the people who dont understand pyramid head was created by james sutherland as a punisher for what he did (dont wana spoil it for the ppl who didnt play SH2 so im not saying what he did) he isnt just a random monster. he was also in the movie b/c in every movie based off a game they try to put every1s fav "villain" in for ratings and dont care how bad they butcher the story
