after 1 year i can say .. n97 still works perfect.. nokia logo on phone back still as new.. only scratchies on screen shield.. no problems with phone firmware..

funny thing when i got n97 was iphone 3g and many fans of iphone said 3gs wiill be better then n97 and still fans of iphone says 4g will better then n97. lels so 3 iphone = 1 nokia phone ..

Its not because of its phone but the software (symbian). i used to be a great fan of Nokia and i was chasing from N-Gage to N80 to N85 and N97, the previous phone were really good, but not the N97. It really disappoints me a lot after i bought the iPhone 4. Reboot problems, hang and so on. compared to iPhone 4, not a rival at all.

@rockondudes6 i havent got the N97 but ive got the nokia 5800 which is pretty much the same but without the keypad, and the touch on my phone is way better than the touch on the iTouch or iPhone,, i dont know what the touch on the N97 is like but i assume its the same as mine? id recomend the nokia for sure, but thats for me it depends what you will be using the phone for i suppose,, if you want any help deciding send me a message with what you will be usin the fone for and ill help if i can :)

I have both phones. i will highly recommend NOT to buy N97..

1st nokia is very aggressive on their price strategics.. i think n97 is still very expensive but the market value in the Canada drop dramatically.on the other hand iPhone's prices are more or less are stable

2 touch screen response is very poor for n97.although they updated the software but still its no ware in comparison of iphone.

3 Ovi store is not fully developed yet.. as compare to apple's aap store..

well.1st thing KINETIC TOUCH doesnt mean its better than iphone's touch.compare the response time of both on calling n texting. a normal person can see the difference.

I dont think u can compare 20,000( # ovi store apps) with 100,000 ( apps store). i.e 5 times more . n they are far more useful then ovi's app..

dont forget the unlimited apps n customization options tht u can get frm Cydia n Rock ( after jailbreaking)
