Why do not you show the progress of Brazil? Why do not you show the beautiful side of the big cities? Why do not you show the positive social development of Brazil? Why do not you show the great monuments? Why do not you show the big theaters, museums and contemporary architecture? The Indians are our responsibility ...
Ahahahha, oh dear, the comments on this video embarrass me as a Brazilian. They not only completely miss the point of the video, they also sound very elitist, as if indigenous or even black people are a burden to Brazil's image.
Anderson Cooper seems to be a great guy and this video is adorable.
You're ignorant? You believe everything that CNN does? CNN goal is to demoralize the countries of South America. You Americans are slaves to the Zionist Jews and you can give great laughs ...
"You Americans"?
USA should be showed with a Mexican Music, because there is more mexican in your country than in any other place in Earth. On the other hand, I would do a documentaty about USA showing extremely obese people, unemployed and victms of a Jihad. Pooor americans. Don´t worry, I´ll help you with my infinite mercy.
You are a little too late for the documentary, it was already made in 2004, it is called: "Super Size Me." You could also watch CNN every night to learn about the unemployed people in the USA. As for Jihad victims... show some respect and leave them out of your ignorance.
YES YES Keep up the stereotypes keep up showing only poor fucked up places, keep up showing only our indigenous and our blacks... FUCK DO SOME SEARCH Brazil is the country with the 3rd biggest white population in the world, Brazil is rich and most of the places civilized. But of course you dont see the real Brazil in stupid american television
This video just shows how ignorant americans are. I can't believe that a enterprise like CNN can say so much bullshit about a country like Brazil. You should at least take a look at Wikipedia. We don't speak spanish. We aren't indians. We don't live in the middle of a jungle. Our capital is not Rio de Janeiro. Our largest city isn't Rio de Janeiro. Our richest city isn't Rio de Janeiro. Rio's HDI is 0,87 (high), so it's impossible to have 100% of the population living in extreme poverty.
This comment just shows how ignorant Zezito082 and others like it are!
I said it before and I'll say it again, I KNOW Brazilians speak Portuguese! I used a Spanish song because I like the song not because of the language. I could have used a song in English, Would you have disapproved of that too? And by the way, Brazilians spell their nationality with an "s" not a "z" I just thought you'd like to know.
I´m portuguese and i have to agree with the brazilians: this is a poor and false portrait of Brazil. Brazil has the best music in the world and you ruled it out. Bad boy! O Brasil é Lindo!
How many times do I have to say that the Spanish song has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Brazil! but with Anderson's personality. LISTEN TO THE LYRICS. If I had chosen a song in English, Would that have meant that I imply that they speak English in Brazil?
You (journalists of CNN) should at least take a fast look at wikipedia before say anything about Brazil and Latin America. I watch CNN almost everyday and I'm always hearing a lot of mistakes about my country. For example, Jim Clancy showed Rio de Janeiro as the largest and most important city, and the country's capital, when it is the second most important city. And he spent 100% of the time talking about favelas (only 3,5% of brazilians live in favelas). It only shows how ignorant you are.
FOR THE LAST TIME: BRAZILIANS SPEAK P O R T U G U E S E !!!!!! And only 3% of our population is pure indian. We aren´t Mexicans. 85% of the population lives in CITIES and not in the middle of the jungle. Brazil is the 6th largest economy of the planet, and not a jungle. Please, at least one time in your life, take a look in a geography book.

Depends where you are, actually. The populous areas are no where near Spanish speaking countries, and people tend to speak a lot of English, especially in the richer and populated areas of the country like Rio and São Paulo, where the wealthy almost always speak fluently. Also, considering American music, and English sung music in general, is extremely popular, an English song would be much more appropriate than a Spanish song. Beyond the music, there's no substance to the video. Just pics...
OK, you win. I should have used a song in English so that the rich people in Rio and Sao Paulo could understand it. I also apologize for making a slide show of pictures only -- what was I thinking? I am sorry for wasting your time. Next time you see a video by PedroGay, please don't waste your time. Thank you.
