madsen was good in ncaa but in nba he is nothing...hansbrough plays similarly to mad dog and they are both undersized in nba...hansbrough will just be a player coming off the bench in his career...

Saying Tyler projects to be a Mark Madsen shows your lack of knowledge about the game. He polished offensively and can score down and his shooting range is 15 feet which is good enough in the league. Also he has the same if more tenacity then madsen and has far more athleticism also. Hes a more athletic version of a Turiaf with far more offensive skills. He will be a solid starter for his career.

hes actually not undersized...he measured out taller with a longer standing reach than blake griffin. However, hansbrough is a terrible athlete jumping only 27 inches on his no step vertical (he lacks explosiveness around the rim)

he is too slow and his footwork is terrible for a PF in the NBA. and his "improved jumpshot" is released too slow.

the only way he dominated in the NCAA is because of his height and his strength. He was dunking/hooking/rebounding on players who were at most 6'5.

but now the NBA has C/PF who are at least 6'9 (his height) and im sure they are more athletic than him. he's never gonna make it in the NBA. He's just another white duke/UNC hype.
