  • sharpie markers on eye?

  • looks like it hurts as fuck..

  • I thought there were some suction cups to keep the eye still. Oo

  • basically there are lasik surgery which is painless it is the custom lasik surgery.

check out this site and get to know more about it.

    site name: soroudivision

  • this would be my ultimate sexual fantasty. .. . well at least for me...

  • This looks horrible, but it really wasn't all that bad. Like @laspanishchica, I had myself a good cry beforehand, but they do their best to calm you down and make sure you feel nothing but a little pressure. Worst part was definitely anticipation, and the clamps they put in to keep your eye open- everything else was breeze and only took a matter of seconds.

  • omgggggggggggggggggggg i have floaters but i life with them dont do this omg im was afraid only to watch this

  • OMFG Lizard i cant believe you have this one here. The thought of your eye being slit open is so artistic lmfao

    Much love

    xXx OxFaM xXx

  • Ew. o.e

  • can you go blind from this

  • Hello, i'm 16 and i want to do this surgery when i get older, but until that... Can you tell me where u did your surgery and how much was it?

    Thanks, waiting for your asnw.

  • ok will the peopl who think it' bad SHUT UP IT'S LIKE 1 MILLION CHANCE YOU WOULD LOOSE YOUR EYE SIGHT FROM THIS SO DON'T GO TO THOSE VIRUS CRAP WEBSITES THIS SHITBAGS ARE TELLING YOU TO GO TO OK? LISTEN TO ME

  • I wear glasses, I'm way too young anyway, but did you really not feel any pain? And those things [I don't know what's it called in English) that they used to keep your eye open..That looked sick..Was it uncomfortable?

  • not happening... not happening at all.. this is brutal.. i had PRK done on me 3 months ago. my no. was -8.45 and -7.0

feels good now.. though i have some haze and some blurry halos around bright objects.. but still nothing that cant be worked around... and the doc says that its to be expected and can go away with the medications...:)

  • Do you see the utensils coming into your eye?

  • yes you can see everything up until the point where they lift the flap .... pitch black!

  • whaaaaat!!! no way!! really??? so you can see the slicer slice the circle? and then why is it pitch black after they lift the flap????

  • @laspanishchica the cornea is pretty much what filters the light into your eye...down inside to your retina. Without it, light isn't sent through your eye properly if at all

  • @nebulae87 thanks, but i already got lasik now...lol...since july 09

  • @laspanishchica how was it.....and how IS it now? lol I'm thinking about getting it

  • @nebulae87 It was really scary, i was even crying at the lasik place. it doesn't hurt, but you really feel pressure on your eye, but they numb your eye so that you don't feel the slicer, well you feel it but it doesn't hurt. but the pressure kind of "hurts," not really but its just weird. and i had a stigmatism. i can see really good now. it's worth it. the doc said i wont have to ever need to do this procedure again. i'm just happy i got it done, i feel more confident now.

  • Dude! i would have panicked then ! that must have been a scary experience :S

  • Anyone else have to have surgery on their eyes more than once? Because I had mine done and at first they were fine, over time the right one has gotten progressively blurry and I'm having to have them checked, now I have to have the muscle in my eye checked, will have to have more surgery, it's become an ordeal. Anyone else with similar story?

  • mine is -3.00 can you see in -7.50?

  • oh yea it does ,its called droopy eye

  • They put needle in your eye to numb it?

  • no just eye drops

  • how much do u think it would cost just for 1 eye? i have really bad vision on my left eye and perfect vision on my right...

  • £350 in the UK

but you should get it done quick because it might effect your other eye

  • how will it affect my right eye?

  • If you do not wear your glasses I heard that your eyes try to balance by making the vission of the better eye worst.

  • eww

  • How could you leave ur eyeball opened the long man that would hurt I would have to blink. Why anyway did u get that eye surgery done?

What is that big thing he keeps putting in ur eye?

  • Dang I am lucky I aint that person whos eyeball is getting done.

I wonder if they r awake or sleeping?

  • hahaha that would be my eye ball....i was awake but had some anesthetic drops that made me really drowsy..couldnt feel anything other than pressure of the instruments

  • What was that thing he was scraping out of ur eye?

  • are U still happy with the Lasik U may find issues down the road I hope it really works for U minus 7.5 is pretty high for lasik procedure my prescription is more like minus 10

  • yes i am still happy with the results... its only been 3-4 yrs but so far so good :)

  • this vid was boring

  • lol dammit just do it, looks cool and you know your doctor isn't gonna blind you just get it done and no glasses for the rest of your life

  • what happens if you had to go to the bathroom and couldn't hold it? would they move the procedure to the can??

  • cuantas dioptrias tenias??

  • is it ez 2 keep ur eyes open through thr whole thing?

  • the nerves is up to u to calm down...if uve done ur research u will know wot ur getting urself into....theres a small light u are asked to keep looking at so ur eye doesnt move around....i felt like i was moving around alot but apparently i wasnt...u just need to concentrate on the light and leave the rest to the doctor its all u can do.... the nerves are excessive

  • that part wasnt painful u just feel pressure....the only part i cud feel and smell (dead skin) was when the flap was sealed with heat... he had to pause every now and then to let it cool down...

  • hahah that shit is fucked

  • ianmnotp it doesn't for the first 3-6 years but then your eye sight gets worse and the laser slowly starts to worsen and you canot have it removed !!

  • You may need reading glasses when you are in your 40's was what I was told. I really do not give a damn, I am glad I had this done and I am enjoying my sight and my freedom from glasses and contacts right now!! Whoo Hooo!

  • my mom got lasic and it works fine for

pshhhhh lasic ruining lives ... pshhhhhh

  • omg is it REALLLY painful?!?. ..

  • it's not painful at all, they deaden your eye so you don't feel anything.

you wouldn't be able to take it if they didn't deaden it.

  • hi ,

I am having cracks in retina , is Lasic only option for me ??? i have high power.

  • It looks really uncomfortable when they push down on your eye with that thing to cut the cornea (1:30). Did it feel weird?

I'm glad you had a good experience! I'm getting one in two years and I'm kind of nervous...even though it's far away..

  • If 10,000,000 Americans have had LASIk and the FDA says there is a 5% dissatisfaction rate, that equates to 500,000 Americans being hurt. A much higher number than the 142 currently being reported. See what I mean about the Lies? I think the true number of eyes hurt is more like 25% of all eyes over a 10 year period. Remember, the FLAP never heals. Google: Lasik FDA, Lasik Suicides, Lasik Nightmare, Lasik Complications, Lasik Disaster, Lasik Hell, Lasik dry eye, Lasik Ruined Lives.

  • you can say that for pretty much anything...there are risks with pretty much everything in life...for instance there is a risk driving your car and might get killed...but that chance is slim

  • INCORRECT...The Lying LASIK Quacks are falsifying "success rates" stating a 95.4% success rate, when it is more like 45.9%!! The FDA even held an Emergency LASIK Panel on April 25th, 2008 to discuss this. The reason post LASIK patients are so upset with their Lying LASIK Quack of a doctor, is because they are finding out about all of the lies...all of the lies so that the Lying LASIK Quack could steal $5,000 bucks not even caring if their patients go blind (and many are going blind from LASIK)

  • PS: YouTube Search: lasik fda, crsqa. Then Google Search: lasiknewswire, lifeafterlasik, lasik horrific, nightmare lasik and discover that ther are hundreds of patients trying to warn you about the LIES of the LASIK industry and how/why these patients are DISGUSTED with these Lying LASIK Quacks!

  • LASIK is finally all over the news and showed to be causing great concern. Google: LASIK FDA, LASIK SUICIDES, LifeAfterLasik, Lasik-Flap. The 95% success rate is bogus. We spoke in front of the FDA Panel this week telling them that there are about 10,000 hurt LASIK patients, not the reported 140 complaints they are stating. Anyway. Google: Brian Williams LASIK FDA NBC, LASIK CBS, LASIK ABC, LASIK CBC.

  • can ppl see anything during surgery???

  • when the flap is lifted u cant see anything...other than that yes u can see

  • I have posted an interesting video regarding an advanced PRK tecnique. Check it out and help me collecting info on that.

  • today when i went to the eye docter or whatever u call it (i forgot) umm theey found out i was near sided and my dad wears glasses and he said i want u to get lasic eye surgry cuz glasses r hard to keep up with and so my dad asked him and he said 35 and im 11 doesnt that suck

  • Did they use the eye tracker on you?

Was your's the VISX Exumer Laser with 3D Eye tracking?

  • Listen everybody, I've had to wear glasses since I was five and I think this is a wonderful procedure. I'm saving my money right now to have it done. I know that there's risk's but I would risk my sight in one eye not to have to wear glasses and to be able to roll over and see what time it is.

  • Hey. I've decided to go thru with this operation very soon... I've been extremely short sighted all my life but am going to get my vision fixed. Your vid was really interesting to watch (if a wee bit gory) but at least I know what to expect. Thanks for posting! I hope to see soon!

  • Its more of a ya uncomfortable feeling, some docs do it real smooth for example like this guy.. Hes was great at it ud just be a bit uncormfortable because ur eyes is sensiitive, But it doesnt hurt as much as it looks! :)

  • does it hurt?... also how much does it costs?...plz reply...

  • It doesn't hurt at all. The only thing you feel is a little pressure before the flap is created. I had my surgery a year ago and I wish I had done this sooner! There is no pain at all. You eyes are numbed with eye drops and you are given a Valium to help you relax. My Lasik surgery was $ 2700.00. Which includes a year of follow ups in the price.

  • 2700 aint much...but followups?...but doesn't it depend on ur eyesight?my eyesight is pretty horrible....

  • That was the price where I had it done. At this place, they charge everyone the same price.I'm sure it depends on where you go to have it done.

  • so 2700$ not much...how long would it take?....wait...my frien told me that if the laser doesn't hit my eye u can go blind....at ur own risk....

  • It took 30 seconds on one eye and 20 on the other. There are risks with any surgery. The laser is directlty over your eye, so I'm not sure why it wouldnt hit your eye. I have had no problems and excellent results.

  • mikey....ur good at explaing things....though that means 1 min ur done ur eyes fixed...though u can go blind if done wrong ight?...can u sue them?lol....

  • I have NEVER heard of anyone going blind with this procedure, but yes, I would imagine it is a possibility. I would think you could sue them.

  • wow soo in like 1 min ur done....after i get this surgery ima join the Army so thats in about uh...2-4 years....

  • its possible that the flap gets cut wrong...they can cut straight thru the cornea and the result is worse than when u started...u dont go blind like that but its close enough... a cornea transplant can be done in this case but that can take years..

  • There are risks associated with any surgery. It is up to you to decide if the risks, which are small, are worth it. I have had very successful results with my lasik sugery. I would recommend it to everyone!!!

  • I dont recommend Lasik risky and U really need to be older til eyes stabilize but I am quite a bit older than 27 and my eyes still get worse a lot worse how bad is your prescription, stick to glasses even contacts are bad that i can tell U from experience curious what you think about my glasses

  • every case is unique some people are not good candidates for lasik... my eyes had been stable for 4 yrs before i had it done....ur glasses are so un-cool they can only be cool! ;)

  • i wonder if they give everybody a valium to help relax....i mean every lasik eye place

  • No they don't. I did not have one and they should have given one to me. I was literally shaking from freaking out.

  • damn there is alot of lasik ways, lucky you have it done a good way

  • nice eyelashes.

  • i agree with you CartoonMan789

  • Looks like it really hurts. Does it? Please Reply. OUCH!

  • it is not so painful...you just may feel discomfort when doc. apply this retractor to separate your eyelids..and a heavy pressure sensation during procedure..

  • I had this surgery about 3 months ago and could not possibly be any happier with the results. I was a -9 in both eyes and now have 20/20 & 20/15. It pays to do your home work before selecting a doctor and don't choose one based on price because you get what you paid for.

  • this looks really basic compared to the machine they used when i had lasik surgery on 14 December. It looks far worse here than it did when I had it done. It's not quite a walk in the park but it's not painful at all. Don't listen to scaremongers on here. Ask an optician or doctor.

  • does it hurt?

  • omq;im soo waitinq; like i dont even like touchinq my eyes.i think its unsaft.look at painful it is

  • It is not painful at all. You are given numbing drops. And a Valium to help you relax. It was so quick for me, and I never had any pain whatsoever. I would recommend anyone to have it done.

  • Can anyone tell me what's it like haveing a eye surgery? At the young age it's unsual for me to develop minor cataracts..

  • That's why many doctors do prk

  • dkantis... Do u have 20/20 vision? or were u left w dry eye syndrome bc of a previous surgery?? I mean its the individuals own fault for not researching well enough and for going to a pathetic so called doctor.

  • I feel like barfing

  • wow that's a thin flap

  • as if they drew on your eye, they could have at least rubbed it out -.-

  • Would you go up in an airplane if you knew that it would crash 50 percent of the time? Most would say absolutely not, but unfortunately, the industry is so greedy that potential patients aren't even getting true Informed Consent, but instead it's a form to benefit the doctor so you can't sue them. Remember it's all about money.

  • Tiger Woods's ex girlfriend Kashmira Karanjia has been ruined from lasik, Regis Philbin, and Kathy Griffin are having major problems. Why isn't this on the news?

  • It doesn't hurt at the time, because they numb you up and give you valium, however, AFTERWARDS, it really really hurt me because they never told me to swab the salt deposits from my eyes... Going back to work the next day? Nope. Took two weeks. But, I see 20/20. I was legally blind. :)

  • goes to show that every doctor has a different proceedure... the best thing to do is find out what each doctor does and anyone who has had it done with them... everyone is going to have a different story, its just the risk u take!

  • I went back to work w days after the surgery.

  • can he see fter the operation???

  • wow it looks like it hurt

  • i think thats hurt

  • does this process hurt?

  • I got lasik done in Germany two months ago. I went from -4.75 to having perfect vision. Find a good experienced surgeon. Being free from glasses is a great feeling.

  • is the peronms awake

  • yes, you are awake.

  • i find it amazing that the fda has a say-so on anything like this seeing all the other crap they approve

  • Now is not the time to have refractive surgery in the United States. European patients have access to far better lasers, topographers, etc. Ask your doctor when the US FDA will approve the 1000 Hz iVIS laser platform so you can receive the smoothest ablation available today, for the best post-op vision.

  • America's FDA is both corrupt and too protective at the same time. They won't approve anything that'll give you a papercut, but they'll approve cancer-causing drugs for a few million dollars. O_o

  • man this shyt is creepy it looked like snuf to me

  • This is a pretty good video. I had this done last week in Canada. There are other Lasik videos on youtube and they are awful, nothing like what I had done. It doesn't hurt at all.

  • I've thought about laser eye correction myself off and on but it's such a risk, I am very very short sighted and my glasses prescription is -6.00 in the high range where serious medical eye conditions can occur

  • There is a far superior laser, and vastly superior topographer, available now in Europe. Now is NOT the time to have laser eye surgery in the U.S. Wait for better technology, and put pressure on your local docs to demand that better technology gets FDA approval --there is NO good reason that European patients should enjoy better medicine than we do. Be patient and don't submit to inferior technology!!

  • Horrifying. im 13 and considering LASIK eye surgery when i meet the age reccomendations. It looked like you had piles of water dropping from your eyes. did u collect that all? lol no just kidding. it creeps me out though, it seems as if you were being unwillingly tortured.

  • If your sight changes about every 1 or 2 years don't get lasik, you will just throw your money away. Why? Your eyes are changing as a young person, and if U do have it done, you will be having it done every 2 years. At age 27 your eyes stop changing and really slow down. Thats the time to do lasik for HD quality vision "Custom Wavefront All Lasik"

  • oww that makes me cringe

  • i know you were in pain afterwards...my husband is on the couch right now all doped up

  • no pain my op went well, its always a risk of course, i knew that but did it anyways. i just felt as though i had a contact lense wrong way round in my eye for a few hrs (uncomfortable but not painful) i hope ur husband feels beter

  • hi im 22 and liv in the uk like you were did u get it done how much etc, and did the flap stay closed and stuff, do u recomend it, i seen some of the american ones they look like they used another tool before opening the flap

  • I am amazed. I've always had an "eye thing" where I'm waaaaay protextive of my eyes and this procedure would make me go crazy. I have chills right now

  • thats lucky if u were awake you could have been in alotttt of pain

  • im impressed

  • WHere you awake?
