My grandpa passed away from colon cancer in April this year, just before my grandma and his 60s wedding day, my grandma's 80th birthday, his son's 60th birthday, my 18th birthday, my sister's confirmation which he had so been looking forward to.. Fortunately he got to celebrate his 91th birthday. My grandma miss him very much, so do we. This video makes me think of him :(

As the years passed Carl started to realize that they were running out of time but just as he manage to get the trip it was to late. Ellie died and he felt like he failed her.

It took me a while to notice, but now, I love how the colors inside the house are dull and nearly grayscale (ex. @ 0:33), but as the scene goes on, the colors come back (ex. @ 3:06).

That's emotional restoration for you. Affects colors and doesn't afraid of anything.
