Check out Dave's crazy mic stand. Like qotsa, the mic stands are actually DW cymbal stands. It's a good idea to use cymbal stands for mics because of the durability factor alone. Anyone who's ever gigged in a band knows how much it sucks when the 'clutch' of the mic stand gets worn out and it won't stay in position; guess you wouldn't need to worry about that problem when using cymbal stands.

@VirusMan254 - I see four individuals and one of them is Alain Johannes. He is a musical genius and makes a huge impression on this bands live performances. Limitless tracks can be added in the studio. Live for the most part is the real deal. Can you imagine what these songs would sound like live without Alain? He's as talented as anyone on that stage. He can do it all.

@VirusMan254 - I like the live version of TCV better than the studio version. The record to me sounds over produced. The Cream records didn't. This live concert on the other hand is amazing! About as good as it gets. And a big reason for that is Alain. That was my point. I guess I just would like to see him get more recognition for his extraordinary contribution. @ApplianceOperator Meh, music is music to me. Produced or overproduced. I don't doubt your judgement, they do probably owe most of what they have to Alain. But in the end, music is music--as long as it sounds like the song, I'll listen to it.

BTW, wasn't Alain helping with Queens of the stone age as well? Explains why he's here helping Josh as well.
