Thanks Rajendra ji for uploading this rare video of interview of Late Sh.Daan Singh ji.. his whereabouts were not known to old timer hindi film music lover.. I uploaded his song "pukaro mujhe naam lekar pukaro" on my channel and there I got information that he was in Jaipur and later news of his death posted by Neeraj Mital. a resident of Jaipur... then I chanced upon this video which I circulated amongst youtube friends with the news of his death..sharing sorrow

After going through the interview I was little bit depress depressed , how a talent music director was behaved in the film industry , Dhan singh jee rightly said " isisi ka Naam to Jindagi hai , ju milgay to shukriya , jo na mila to bhee shukriya".

Mujhe bhi Shi Daansingh ji se milne ka saubhagya mila tha, waqai behad saral Insaan theyy. Bollywood mein aise log fit ho bhi nahi paate. Yahi inke saath bhi raha.

Shiv ji, aapka bahut dhanyawad, aapne anmol palon ko humare saath share kiya.

rafijee and he spoke to me about how Talat mahmood in 1948 asked him for a singer's role in film and he made him sing in punjabi film after that he got him in Shirinfarhad Karwan and Shazada and all songs were hit he is no longer in music relaxed in US I wished to revive his songs on a programme and he was not able to finalise that and wished me to see him in Washington , so this is how destiny changes with artistes inlife andI saw the change with Talat saab after 70s bhupinder pujji

Similarly I was luck to speak to S Mohinder jee who left Mumbai Bollywood as a great MD from the days of 1948 and a snr and an able musician he went to Washington settled there and left music he is an old man of above86 and deserves a postion he got an award for nanak nam jahaz all praise for Ashaji rafije
