This game came out before eve besides its not the same , not even close. I played eve and it sucks in comparison.The fisrt x game came out in 1999, eve online did not come out till 2003

the game has many ways of controlling the ship , mouse , joystick and keyboard it all depends on what you prefer. Its a pretty cool game.

Eve players are no different from WoW players.
It's like watching ever quest 1 and saying it looks like World of war craft. There were space games before EvE online believe it or not..and actually copied ideas like ELITE for example. Open your mind.

Colony wars was the shit..thank god we'll have something like colony wars as a MMO space game. Jumpgate evolution. I finally get to use my joy stick for something. Getting tired of the click and watch ur character auto attack.

sorry... the way that ship moves sucks, not controls not keys, to stiff is like playng doom on a old console and the ship is the gun, maybe x3tc will be different...

this game and the entire series of this game has a shitty control and sterring, is like playng doom 1 on some sort of old console... and this makes this game entairly a waste of time for the makers of it and for the player that want to playit!!!!

ealexe:PC version plays verry well for me... maybe its your stick that's in conflict? did you customize the buttons and other things? (like sensibility,deadzone etc.) if u play it with a mouse,now it is alot better btw
