I don't mind when people use dogs or horses in the circus as much because they are domesticated animals who have been working with men for thousands of years (and enjoy doing so), but wild animals are just that. Wild.

Arrogant humans who think they can tame and control them deserve to be mauled to death by the poor beasts. Respect nature.

I have to point out in a few years the only tiger remaining in the world will be raised in captivity. Wild tigers are currently something really rare because of hunting and MAJOR habitat destruction. The amount of natural habitat left is completely insignificant. I guess the'll probably become like pigs and cows. (anyone ever saw a wild cow?) Tigers aren't social animals like dogs and they wont easily submit to someone. If they got raised in captivity I don't see where the problem is.

technically the're not wild animals since they got raised in captivity. Than we humans destroyed a lot of their habitat and many tigers are close to extinction in the wild but not in captivity. Some animals like the przewalski horse went extinct in the wild because of hunting and habitat destruction. But many zoo's took action...even tough they only had a few of them, and collectively created a preserve. They now have over 100 individuals in the "wild" (its a natural preserve).

it's very intertaining but sad at the same time the tigers should be in the wild and if in captivity they shouldnt have to deal with thousands and thousands of people a day with loud music and people screaming and flashing lights if i were one of those tiger i would eat the trainer but then they'ed kill me oh well still cool but not right gosh i hate when i have mixed feelings about dumb stuff

i remember seeing this at the circus two times. one of the tigers looked like he seriously wanted to kill his trainer. i was scared for him. you could just smell the tension.

No offense, but obviously the people "caring" for the tigers are going to lie to you. They aren't going to say "Yeah, we beat them with whips, baseball bats, and metal-tipped bull hooks" because they know they'd be in trouble for it.

I was at the same show on saturday, I was horrified by this man and the tiger act. It was so sad. I really want to do something to discourage it. Those poor tigers were sedaded. I felt so sorry with that man taunting them.

I went last night to Zing Zang Zoom at the Staples Center, here's my story:

There was an act with several tigers, the animal trainer doing the show was a mexican dude........this act lasted 10 minutes, ... He did the entire act SPEAKING SPANISH ONLY, and in the middle of the act, he yelled, "viva la raza", IM STILL IN SHOCK.... I went up to a black vendor lady, she told me to complain because I wasn't the first who was insulted.......
