Well, I love Bette and Kathy, but this could have been a lot better. Bette is so smart, and really has much to say, but that was wasted here. No real belly laughs, but a couple of chuckles. One thing I love about Miss M. - she's at an age where she has nothing to hide, and you can read her reactions to people, whether she says something or not. A couple of the looks she gave Kathy were priceless....

most reality shows are pretty much scripted sorry to say....this one, too...but more ad=libbed and quite a bit of fun if you just relax and go along for the ride....

the story is clearly scripted, like i'm going to see Bette Midler perform and then I get into the show as a hooker etc, but actual reactions and what kathy says i think isnt expected. if you think about it just saves money and tape reel rather than just having a camera on her for 24 hours.

Kathy Griffin truly is D-List - being next to someone like Bette Midler proves it. Bette was great, but is anyone supposed to believe that this show is not completely scripted?

I don't think it was, if it had been it could have been better. Besides, Bette's reactions and answers were not scripted....no way. Kathy's nerves got the best of her.
