  • 17:30 - 17:34 say a lot about me...

  • In the video, what is said from 15:30 - 16:30 (mostly the last 20 seconds of that time interval) is by far the most important understanding the video is trying to convey. Train your brain to think more in the terms it mentions, and you will see that something begins to happen. Your entire environment and thought process seems to change. It only lasts a short-while, but I'm sure through training one can accomplish the process continuously. It's hard to grasp at first, but it is possible w/trainin

  • they did not examine the difference between men and women. thats something skeptic.

  • they hv no clue what they r talking about

  • @92hyadav false

  • What a shame that this video has but 200k views

  • does anyone know how to hyperlink this into a powerpoint

  • @karmacounselor Google search?

  • @karmacounselor I'm not sure about powerpoint, but you can 'imbed' videos into ms excel. (I actually use excel to do many powerpoint type presentations). Try this link: chandoo.org/wp/2011/01/11/embed-youtube-videos-excel/

  • @LSD108 THank you...I surprised myself yesterday when just randomly I decided to right click copy and then I pasted the downloaded saved video onto my powerpoint page and lo and behold a play icon showed up and when i clicked it it works...a new neural pathway, eh? thanks for the feedback

  • I don't understand how you can post stuff like this, then put up tons of shit of "Tania". Do you have any clue where your priorities lie? Are you focused at all?

  • forgive my ignorance, but how can something be important & meaningful to you if you have no identity which to ascribe importance & meaning?

  • people who argue on youtube are usually insecure assholes looking to prove something.

  • @hippiezombie You just described me in one sentence.

  • @hippiezombie And people who post comments like yours are recovering addicts of what you describe.

  • @hippiezombie Arg! I disagree!=-)

  • "fossil evidence? how do fossils help us?" Ha! I should have that put on a T-Shirt.

  • described both as what science says it is and both that it equals what we normally mean by social cohesion, which is wrong. Then again it uses the assumption that neural pathways describe certain action as seen in real life, and such patterns have not yet been discovered, and then again hei if this is true, if any of this is true, about consciousness someone deserves a Nobel prize.

  • i cannot even begin to describe how many argumentative fallacies this has.First to describe mind with tools used from science, is like measuring a girl is beautiful with a gauge. But the main thing is that is uses an ASSUMPTION that mind equals brain, but then continues to use terms from mind, such as social cohesion, and explain them wih science. This is loggicaly falacious because you are left in the conclusion with an assumption and that is that for ex social cohesion or etc is what is beeing

  • @manatualexandru using that argument the existance of god is as equally loggically falacious because theists give 'god' characteristics based on the assumption 'god' exists to exhert characteristics such as omnipotentcy and omniprescence among many others in an attempt to prove 'gods' existance.

  • @skeanos yes, it is true only in a a priori, ontological argument, because you are left in the conclusion with what you have said of God, which is to say there are "2" Gods the one you assume and the one you prove using such an assumption.Simply put for an ontological argument god has to exist in order for God to exist, which means of course beside the logical implication, that there has to be some empirical fact.

  • @skeanos If however, the concept of God is derived from another well accepted concept such as mathematics, however unlikely that has to be, God is then discovered not created, and has logically sound structure.

  • CORRECTION: FOXP2 is also found in many other animal species, reptiles, birds, fish. Pretty compelling case for us being animals (Sorry, not distinctly a mammalian trait! Although the differences scale duly with phylogeny, humans and chimps only differentiating by two amino acids). I have been out of the classroom for ages, I love correcting myself.

  • @AtheistMonster lol almost every race and or species share dna amongst eachother.

  • @lemonlimelukey

Exactly. They absolutely should. We are infact animals.

  • Comment removed

  • BRAINSSSSS!!!!

  • Another funny thing, humans and chimps also share virtually all of their ERVs, and all other primates share similar retroviruses that are congruent with phylogeny, we know of this because of both examination of indel variation, and whole-genome analysis. That with comparative homology makes it pretty cut and clear in determining our relationship with other primate species. Distant cousins, some yet closer than others. But nonetheless related by genetics.

  • do a search for neurogenesis on FB, like "Neurogenesis: The natural creation of powerful, new brain cells. "

  • Somebody ate some mushrooms and leaked the truth about reality... tsk tsk tsk.

  • Narration is far from pleasant, but the writing is great.

  • Well, I've said my peace. If anyone wants to get into a debacle with me, atleast try to understand what it is you're fighting against. And be considerate to the content provider, I am sure that he doesn't appreciate this spam.

  • admittedly, i'm not very interested in this subject; however, i really admire the research you guys have put in this. very respectable.

  • This is awesome, they should show it in schools

  • Thank you Athene for this wonderful video ... although I personally find the narration a tad annoying, but I'm not sure why. lol

    This I must share.

  • This gives us insight to our humble beginnings and development of our social behavior. Good day sir!

  • by the way i love you and the fact that you own at every video game ( wow cod lol .... ) im a ret paladin and i enjoy your live streaming every night thx =)

  • and dont even try to say that the human body have devoloped from early ages (so he can be able to do so ) " i mean the darwing thing blablabla ... " he would devolope but not this very very right perfectly with no harm or such changes ... us humans are not a considences becauses 100 % of our body system is a miracle .. im muslim ive readen the quoran that explained to us 80 % of this miracles ( till now ) exemple : how that the male's semen is responsible for the baby's sex ( male or female )

  • @Aminovitch92i Yes, Evolution also teaches us of how the same exact miracles exist with real scientific proof. Not some stupid book that you think has all the answers.

  • @TheWoWGrind just calling a holy book for such religion " stupid " .. shows how dumb fuck you are and how ignorant is your environment you grew up in ... wich makes people like you out of this discussion .. leave this discussions to people who think with their brains .. just go play some wow .. i bet power leveling a toon dont use brain ..

  • @Aminovitch92i And calling a book "holy" shows how fucking dumb you are. Watch this movie before commenting, the only reason you are so mad is because my opinion is disrupting your survival instincts that come from EVOLUTION.

  • @TheWoWGrind wtf xD .. how the fuck do you know that im mad and disturbed !! ? omg xD .. jumping to conclusions without evidence shows how your science is helping your brain cells .. you are still the same stupid commenter from 5 hours ago you need to think before puting a random comment . i called it holy because as i beleive holy one write's it ( god ) and he called holy and send it to humans wich some of them are expressing there retardness right now ... omg multiple fails xD

  • @Aminovitch92i Yes, and I called it stupid because I believe it is stupid. I said you were angry because you responded in an angry manner. Why is your opinion more valid than mine about a BOOK?

  • @TheWoWGrind honestly man... don't get mad. but there really is not any empirical evidence for evolution...if there is some that you know of then please simply (calmly) post some..

  • @fluraez As someone who has only taken a year of biology/physical anthropology in college I have seen a ton of empirical evidence for evolution. There is a slew of fossils that provide evidence, it really doesn't take much research to see the empirical evidence for evolution.

  • @TheWoWGrind Then how come we cant find that "missing link" oh it doesnt exist. Evolution doesnt create new species.

  • @98802ohhey How can their be a "missing link" on a progressive scale? It isn't like one day it's a cat and then some transitory species and then a dog. It a slow gradual "evolution" hence the name.

  • @TheWoWGrind Apparently you dont know anything. The "missing ink" is the species between man and ape. your right there cant be a jump, its why evolution humans form apes or w/e can't be plausible.

  • @98802ohhey There are so many different types of hominids, all with unique characteristics but with similar overall qualities that it points to all of them sharing a common ancestor with apes. There are a large number of fossils that point to this as well, and DNA evidence on top of that.

  • @TheWoWGrind No, look it up there is a distinct set of dna genes that any primate does not share with us, and there is no link between them. If we found it, maybe its possible, but we have never found it nor never will. Thats why 10 years ago the "missing link: was so bug, now most scientists have given up the who evolution theory except ones with atheist religion backrounds. Look up missing link and how we have never found it.

  • @98802ohhey Most scientists have given up on the theory of evolution? Haha, I'd like you to show me a link to any study that suggests that. Atheist religion?

  • @98802ohhey Also I think it is funny you try to discredit the scientists who believe in the theory of evolution by claiming they have an "atheist religion" background, yet I bet the reason you and many others DONT believe in evolution is because you have a theistic background.

  • @TheWoWGrind fossil evidence? how do fossils help us? dont get mad...just please tell me lol

  • @fluraez looool

  • @98802ohhey That was my least prominent fact, and instead of a counterargument you go into verbal attacks. Anyway you loose there is no link evolution did not jump, the primates never had the fox p2 gene could never communicate and think the way we did, there has been no definitive proof yet. Find some then reply to me, until then leave me alone evolution isnt viable.

  • @98802ohhey

How can you still be talking if you still do not even know what evolution is?

It's interesting, you have no grasp of the concept yet you still dispute it's validity and continue to create strawman arguments.

This is a pretty good example of the defensive ignorance that the video discussed. However, it isn't my job to persuade you. But it is my humble obligation to laugh at you whenever you say things like "most scientists have given up on evolution!".

  • @AtheistMonster well man you knew what a straw man argument was...good job...and you referenced the video...you know what subtle ad-hominem is?

  • @98802ohhey

The funny thing is, there is no missing link between men and apes because men ARE apes. Hey, while you're at it, find me a part car/taxi. Or perhaps a part dish/dinner plate. FIND ME A PART ELEPHANT/MAMMAL.

  • @98802ohhey

Do you know what else is funny? The FOXP2 gene is found in every mammal. They are used and adapted differently which is why there is a distinction between FOXP2(Human) and FOXP2(Chimp), but regardless, they are evident in every primate species and also taxonomically classifies us as mammals. Oh, and you speak of the high road, verbal attacks you say? Your rage letter to me revealed plenty of hypocrisy and grammatical blunders to go around.

  • @98802ohhey lets gooo!! keep it up man lol

  • @TheWoWGrind Even that homo habilis they found around a year ago turned out to be fake lol...

  • @fluraez

observed natural selection, observed speciation, homologies, embryology, atavisms, the fossil record, genetics, and something called common sense.

  • @AtheistMonster embryology is a joke...really? i cant believe you even said that...you should use common sense...this is ridiculous...

  • @fluraez

Your knowledge of what evolution even implies is severely limited, I wonder what compels people like you to act like you have an opinion on the matter. Perhaps it is the same narrow-mindedness that this video describes, which would explain why you're getting defensive and typing with furrowed brows, stalking google relentlessly for general knowledge for lack of a better word. However, that is not my problem.

  • @AtheistMonster really? well high and mighty one who believes the 3-4 pounds of carbon and water between his ears enables him to comprehend the universe. please don't pretend to be intelligent because you can use a thesaurus and write "furrowed brows." all you've done is take away the focus from your central argument with your overuse of unnecessary rhetoric...please come back when you are ready to say something that would give evidence of intelligence...any...at all....

  • @fluraez

Now onto embryology, I can see why you would say that. It was exaggerated at first, but with new ways to observe activity in the womb the observation was not far off and we do see similarities in early developmental stages, almost undistinguishable.

  • @AtheistMonster that is ridiculous...new ways to observe? hahahaha it still looks way different man hahahaha "well maybe if we look from this angle..o look it looks like a lizard now" hhahahaha wow

  • @fluraez

My central argument is sound. I believe that through natural selection, genetic variation, reproduction, and inheritance, that species become more adept to their surroundings. As populations become more isolated, it makes sense that these variants become more unique over time to the point where they become distinguished as their own subset and cannot usually reproduce outside that subset and produce fertile offspring.

  • Over perhaps 3.5 billion years, i'd expect to see the variety we see today.

  • @AtheistMonster wow stop acting smart on youtube it actualy makes you look bad rather then smart and copy-pasteing from wikipedia is really lame by the way.....

  • @atacamamaster

    -.-

Learn to spell, then tell me that.

  • @atacamamaster

And sorry, but i'm not even trying to act "smart", I'm just voicing my understanding of the topic. And if I ever copied and pasted anything on Youtube, it was never from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is just a reference that you should only look at to refresh your knowledge on something that you already knew, not a tool to copy and paste from. It is not a valid resource.

  • @fluraez Hey dude... PRESS PLAY AND WATCH AGAIN

  • @Realistazoul don't bother me. you obviously aren't ready to argue rationally...

  • @AtheistMonster hahahaha wow. natural selection is obvious but does not give any help to a linear species jump that evolution claims. and speciation? really...i have yet to see a dog that isnt a dog anymore...its still the same species. and homology tells us nothing- wow things are similar..that dosent mean that one came from the other. do two similar chairs have the same ancestor or the same craftsman?

  • @fluraez

For example, your little tid bit about how evolution "claims" that species jump. This is false in every regard and falls flat of the phylogenetic tree entirely. You never outgrow your precursor, but instead branch out and diversify, every successive branch is yew of the prior, it will always be classified as such. As the branches become more and more distinct through genetic isolation they cannot intertwine. (i.e "speciation").

  • @AtheistMonster wow..ok man are you serious? really?...think for a sec...if it goes from being a lizard...to a lizard with some skin flaps...then to an animal with less dense bones and feathers instead of scales...different kind of eyes...no longer cold blooded...now has a beak...are you telling me that there is evidence for every step of this process? observable empirical evidence? because that would be science..but if not...you're out of luck...also..its still a species jump...

  • @fluraez

Also, homology is the taxonomic study of the traits and characteristics of species, which is not to say that one came from the other. But simply to imply that they share common ancestry. This is why whales and dolphins are not classified as fish, but mammals. The same logic applies to humans and other ape species. Unique taxonomic traits that are not shared amongst any other classification of mammals strongly imply a phylogenetic connection.

  • So yeah, if I were to use your example correctly, then yes, if those chairs both shared parts that were only used by say IKEA I could conclude that they are likely from the same company.

  • @TheWoWGrind evolution answers the how but not the why. science cannot answer the existential questions...

  • @fluraez Have you ever thought that there doesn't have to be a why? The universe is random and chaotic, maybe that is why.

  • @TheWoWGrind something with a structure and a design has to have a maker. you don't honestly think your desk at home just poofed into existence after an explosion do you? how about this, you go and get some C4...blow up a car along with some helium and whatever else you want....if it makes a table...or anything even closely resembling something that may have had a creator..lemme kno

  • @fluraez

I'd also like to point out that existentialism is completely infallible and highly subjective.

  • @AtheistMonster well science should stick to medicine and observation and not try to know things that cannot be known without literal divine intervention. science's strength is based on its repeat-ability and predictability....and theory construction based on supposed un-biased observation...evolution is the butchering of all things science.

  • @fluraez

And sorry to say this but the only reason that we can make flu vaccines is because of how we observe how viruses evolve and spread. Probably the best example of evolution in action.

  • @AtheistMonster well it sure..but is a mutation of the virus...and thats where it stops. that mutated virus will not in a billion years stop from being a flu virus type. its not going to eventually change into a more complicated organism...its never going to eventually change into a fish...

  • @fluraez If everything needs a maker than what made god?

  • @fluraez

Ok, I think I just about busted a kidney laughing at the hilarious display ignorance that you just vomited all over the past say... 2 pages. You just don't know what evolution is to even dispute it's validity. If you think that evolution suggests that species jump, you're ignorant. If you think that evolution suggests birds are a subset of lizard, two entirely different linneages, you're ignorant. If you think that evolution suggests that we came from the flu virus, you're ignorant.

  • @fluraez

And finally, I'd like to say that evolution isn't very difficult to figure. Natural Selection + Sexual Reproduction + Genetic Variation + Inheritance = A specimen equipped with inherited genes and the accumulated traits of it's predecessors with a variety of it's own eccentricities which may make or break it's chances of successful reproduction. If successful, such genes become distributed throughout population. Sometimes becoming isolated and making sub-groups.

  • Logically, it should make sense that over a larger time scale we'd find that there is an overwhelming diversity in animal species. As animals become more and more distinct in their phylogenetic branch you begin to see more and more distinct traits and characteristics unique only to that branch of species. In a sense, we are all the same clay model, but molded to different scenarios.

  • @AtheistMonster wellll science cannot every answer "why"....why did Moses predict 10 plagues that can be explained scientifically?...did he just get lucky leading 2 million people across a dry sea bed? or was there divine intervention? is there a natural explanation for miracles? would miracles of even occurred unless the spirit moved and caused it to do so? why? why? it cannot be just coincidence or merely chance that all these things happened...

  • @fluraez

Or perhaps Moses didn't predict anything at all and it's just a bible story which seems abit more likely seeing as there is no evidence of that ever occurring historically, and that jews weren't even there to begin with.

  • @AtheistMonster i know about at least 10 professional historians that would disagree with you...what do you have your doctorate in?

  • @fluraez

And sorry... but your 10 "proffessional" historians have nothing on 99.85% of biologists on this subject matter.

  • @fluraez Nobody can

  • sir you are saying that god only exists in our heads .. and we are afraid to accepte science because it's scare's us with epic facts that shock us .. look dude i use to like you and i still .. but god exists .. if not then you wont have such miraculous devoloped brain that do all of this stuff without causing damage or negative effects .. same thing for throwing semen from your penis to a female's vagina to have a baby as conclusion . how in the hell witout god's effect can this happen ... !

  • way too long

  • Can't believe i actually watch this for 23 minuts. And even stanger is that it actually interested me.

    Thanks for this information!

  • yet are able to "enrich their life experience" without any self-awareness.

Amazing video - fascinating information and it really got me thinking.

Many thanks Athene, and the rest of the team.

  • Could it be possible that the neural-plasticity of young children is a lot more capable than that of an older person? I believe that one's life experience is completely objective and that it is impossible to quantify the enrichment of it.

How can we explain child prodigies? How can we explain the myth that children enhance and improve their skills at a faster rate than adults? that children, on average, do not remember anything of any significance before they reach 3 and a half years old, T.B.C

  • The people who disliked this video feel that have to defend their thoughts and opinions, even though this video shares rational and clear information

  • @dezodude rational and clear information is not entirely correct. there are a lot of holes in the reasoning, logical jumps, and circumstances regarding this phenomena that was not addressed. so the statements made, standing as individual thoughts, may have been rational; but, the overall argument, because of the miss-considerations, is lacking overall coherence and sound rationality.

  • Add to Favourites!

  • Great video Athene really interesting!

  • Umm so not having sex and drinking wont benefit us if we are religious?

  • Please Watch our very first video.

    Together to the top!

  • Personally, I appreciate the perspective and consider myself at a point where I'm trying to rediscover my religion. I'm not going to be quick so quick to drop it just because something makes sense or seems logical. I mean, there's something to learn and benefit from all walks of life right so why not soak up as much as you can from every ideology before you make an overreaching opinion on our existence.

  • @dbgtlegend good point. everyone who is serious about their belief should research and consider other options. it is important to know why you believe what you believe and for your reasons to be pretty good ones not without rationality but not completely dependent upon rationality or empirical evidence. skepticism can creep into every religious circle because of misunderstandings and misinterpretations of the character of the God that they serve...sadly this is why many Christians stop believing

  • (Part 1) Personally, I don't subscribe to organized religion or science. A person telling you what God wants you to do obviously has their own agenda, if God told you what I'm supposed to do, why didn't he tell me? On the other hand, I believe many people who push science are using defense mechanisms as well, they claim to understand God, yet science fails to save a child dying of cancer. It can't solve the riddles we face everyday, but has somehow unlocked the universe.

  • (Part 2) Why is science burning through resources we can't sustain, and why are we as people of the earth believing we can abuse these resources to grow infinitely? Who is to say that because you can explain something, someone or something didn't create it all as part of an elaborate piece of art on a grand scale, with the cosmos being the canvas? Who is to say that if there is a God, that it is benevolent in the first place? I personally believe that we are part of something bigger.

  • (Part 3) I also believe that science and religion fail because they speak too much. I believe that to really learn, all we need to do is listen. While everyone debates, preaches, and experiments I look at the world around me and listen to what it has to say. That is where I draw my beliefs. And through listening, I believe that we have our own problems here on our own planet that we are all a part of, that need to be looked at before we go looking at the stars. Just my two cents.

  • @Freekicksinthesun and things you simply want to do because you love Jesus....you love him this much because he first loved you...i know you heard it probably a million times...but sometimes when we look back at something long forgotten we see something that we hadn't yet realized...i know I've done that a number of times in my life.

  • @Freekicksinthesun jesus and things about him revolve around love. not what someone tells you to do. its a complicated thing to explain over you-tube but love is the center of all he does. once you get deeper into Christianity (the relationship) it becomes less and less about rules...

  • @fluraez I didn't say that Jesus is about doing what other people tell you to do, but organized religion (ie the church) in my opinion does. And that is interesting that the concept of listening is in the bible as well, but I assure you the reason I practice that is unrelated to the bible :) It is a wise thing for everyone from any walk of life and any belief in my opinion.

  • @Freekicksinthesun sick! i agree with you on a number of points. also (i hate to break it to you) but you used a biblical principle in your statement. listening...listening is so important. the bible says to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. we must listen to others, think about it, think about ourselves, speak, and not get angry. it is so important. but believe me when i say that religion now in regards to Jesus is largely not what it was meant to be.

  • Comment removed

  • sooo all you atheists can declare non-rationality and all that fun stuff that tickles your fancy but at the end of the day you will loose. try and argue without getting too mad ;)

  • @fluraez Lose the argument? You are correct. In the same way you will lose any argument you pose against a BRICK WALL. Congratulations on celebrating your irrationality.

  • @liquidthex already seeming to get mad...i said not to do that. it is a proven fact that irrationality and anger have a directly corresponding relationship....

  • yes everyone in the world should internalize this and the world would be a better place, TTTT, spread the word,

no ones cares how much you know until they know how much you care :)

  • also in regards to the construction of the bible...there were a lot of false teachings circulating around this time (knowledge alone gets you into heaven... Jesus wast really God) so they called a meeting with all the church leaders to get it figured out. the first thing that they decided was that Jesus was fully God and fully man based off of the gospels and the personal testimonies that had been passed down from generation to generation through the disciples of the original 12...

  • next, they wanted to come up with a book because all they had were these random letters and every other religion had a book of some kind...so they decided to make a book (the idea of having a book made had been circulating for i think about 100 years and some people even wrote up mock drafts that they thought would be good

  • )..the church leaders wanted something good and reliable. so they had two conditions 1) apostilic authority-either written by a desciple or close enough (the desciple's follower..) 2) and evangelical intent-written about the life, death, or resurrection of Jesus-or sometimes one or both or whatever…

  • Jesus is also the fulfillment of i think around 50-100 prophesies of the coming messiah that was found in the law and the prophets...lots of reasons why we like Jesus..:)

  • o and about Jesus...we follow Him not because he was the "last messiah" in a row of 15 (you say that like we don't already know about the other "spiritual saviors" lol)...but historically, the accounts of Jesus are the most repeated, numerous, and therefore most reliable. (also backed by eye-witness testimonies...i can get into the historicity of the bible for days),

  • @fluraez Find me one historian who recorded Jesus.....

  • @Realistazoul and there names can't be Mathew Mark Luke or John.

  • @Realistazoul hahaha your ignorance surprises me. are you seriously doubting the existence of Jesus? or just his miracles?

  • @fluraez Hey dude just press play and watch the doco again!!!!!

  • @Realistazoul any serous historian and accepted by other professionals in their field today would not doubt the existence of Jesus..is that what you were asking?

  • @fluraez LOL I laugh at the fact that you didn't name any Historian, and any REAL historian would detest the existence of Jesus since he was NEVER recorded in any books

of historians when Jesus 'lived" and after. Only the Bible does. Not going to put my eggs in one basket thinking his real with ONE book.

  • @Realistazoul you are soo ignorant...why dont you look it up yourself before you repeat what your friends and professors have been telling you...

  • @fluraez I see you haven't named a historian. typical religious fanatic discrediting scientists, your just babbling dude you bring no hard evidence to the table. Its all Beliefs.

What is Faith? faith is BLIND belief. Please train your brains left hemisphere to exercise logic.

  • @Realistazoul "Tiberius accordingly, in whose days the Christian name made its entry into the world, having himself received intelligence from Palestine of events which had clearly shown the truth of Christ's divinity, brought the matter before the senate, with his own decision in favor of Christ. The senate, because it had not given the approval itself, rejected his proposal. Caesar held to his opinion, threatening wrath against all accusers of the Christians."

  • @Realistazoul Two references have been made to a report by Pontius Pilate. The references include Justin Martyr (150 A..D.) and Tetullian (200 A.D.). Both references correspond with the fact that there was an official document in Rome from Pilate. The Pilate report detailed the crucifixion but also reported acts of miracles. Emperor Tiberius acted on Pilate's report, according to Tertullian, to the Roman Senate.

  • @Realistazoul theToledoth Jesu mentions Jesus, the The Talmud mentions Jesus,...i cant believe that you are this ignorant...really?...theres more tho-

  • welllll i don't know about this man. i mean i don't think this solves the mind-body/soul question. honestly...there have been too many accounts of people who are brain-dead having these "post-life" experiences...if the mind/soul was just a combination of neurons firing...then how were these people to have these experiences when there was nothing going on upstairs? i think there's more to us than just a combination of neurons firing...

  • vimeo(dot)com/34351513

    Awesome.

  • Well I found the voice a bit disturbing (imo he didn't read the script smoothly) but nonetheless worth a thumbs up.

  • If Man is not given a chance to look at facts, he is at the mercy of anyone telling him how things are. I know you religious folks of 557 are scared to look at texts that contest your faith, I set you the challenge to investigate the origins of your religion. Ill give you a hint of your future findings, you see them at night sparkling in the sky, and that big hot star that gives us life that we cannot look at for more than half a second. I DARE YOU TO SEARCH!

  • @Realistazoul what about woman?

  • 557 people are Religious fanatics and fundamentalists who did not learn anything at all from this video. (left hemisphere being too stubborn?)

  • Man needs to look at and assess all of the facts. If your religion doesn't want to tell you something it is because they are hiding something from you. For Man to progress in life his mind cannot be 'contained', he must be given a chance to look at ALL OF THE FACTS.

  • So basically, People that get angry when their belief system is questioned, or are offended by people criticizing it, are the main losers of the world? Shocking! lol, But this actually gave me some reflective thoughts on my self, cause i do tend to be irritated whit religious people, for me to be open minded and aware i need to stop being emotional attached to what i believe also, and not just tell others to stop crying about their religion. But goddamn.. its so hard sometimes..

  • Athene... Huge question, this affects all of us... What do you think about cannabis? The war on drugs in most country's runs a gigantic bill. New scientific evidence has shown that Cannabis has been used in some cases to kill cancer cells and that all the hype about its harm are just speculation... Thumbs up if you want athene to talk about this.

  • @KenjiMedia Couldnt agree more, the war on marijuana has gone into the trillions in the US... A regulated system couldnt bring us out of the recession. And as Marijuana is to do with the brain, THC + CBD .. people need more awareness!

  • @KenjiMedia ROFLMAO. Hey athene, your good at playing world of warcraft. Whats YOUR view on cannabis?

  • @KenjiMedia Cannabis enriches my life. I could easily live without it. I could also live without my house, car, and good food.. I just wouldn't want to :)

  • @KenjiMedia legalize cocaine insted of cannabis imo.

  • @KenjiMedia Watch this i think it ill explain

Like so other people can see!

  • @KenjiMedia He has mentioned on his live stream that he thinks drugs should be legal to lower crime, but he personally doesn't use or promote the use of any drugs.

  • Athene is controlled/deceived/blinded by Satan...he knows nothing...Satan is just laughing at him.

  • @devilslayer2011 LMAO! Religious people are blind. Read about the many meetings the Vatican had when the bible was being created. The point of the meeting amongst many priests, bishops, pope and other noblemen was simply to decide what should be put in the bible, and what should be left out. To help consolidate power to them and control the population. The same bible you read today. =)
